  1. And by the way, no middle aged man with any kind of judgement should have his hair like that. I'm sorry to judge on appearances, he might be the soundest geezer around, but he comes across as an utter wrongun.
  2. Glad there was some squirrel chat on page one of this thread. It's how things should be. By their own fans' accounts they were utterly abject against West Brom last night. The stats bear that out, too:
  3. Given the stage he is at in his development, and Wilf not being available, that game was a massive stepping stone - a tough first half, but he was one of our best players in the 2nd half.
  4. Fair do's, well played Sunderland, but we were better, and the ref was mince. We haven't had a nailbiter in a while.
  5. The way the ref brandished that yellow was pure "Mike Dean - Drama Queen". Even though it went in our favour, I don't like it.
  6. Ref just gave Vestergaard's baws a right talking to.
  7. Not just the peno shout, Faes was honking most of that half.
  8. The chat from the pundits will be that Sunderland deserve more, but their keeper and the woodwork have stopped a couple of goals. Even though we are not firing without a few injured players, we are making our opponents work hard and still getting our own chances.
  9. Phew. VAR would give them a pen every time. Poor from Faes.
  10. Sunderland have to be blowing out their arses afrer 65 minutes... And this ref can't be that one sided all game.
  11. Yeah, Casadei isn't Wilf, we get that. But he hasn't been our problem this evening. It's Wout. He's been a bit bombscare.
  12. Casadei with his new no nonsense barnet. He'll smash it.
  13. Hope this evening is the time for Casadei to show us why he is so highly thought of. COYB
  14. That was unbelievably brave from England and massively unexpected that we would come so close Lost it at the front row of the scrum after the replacements. Well done the saffers.
  15. Kyle Sinkler getting beasted is costing England here...
  16. This is disingeniuous.
  17. Damn you England, giving me hope...
  18. What is Farrell up to?
  19. I went to spend a year of my degree teaching in Eastern Germany, just after reunification, 1991 to 1992. The bit where I ended up was was a bit of a backwater. There were Russian soldiers still stationed in the town and locals there didn't speak much English or have that much of an idea of Western Culture. I got involved in a game of footy on the park and the local lads, when they found out I was English, the first thing said to me was "Ah, Engländer - Manchester United. Bobby Charlton. " That they said that, 20 odd years after he stopped playing, is pretty impressive. Some innings the man had.
  20. Trundle was complaining before the game that Leicester City spent £40m on Faes and Ricardo in the Summer after relegation and asking how could Swansea compete with that. I took it from the commentary that he has the mental age of an 11 year old. And that's before he was shouting out in excitement during play.
  21. What's the point in crowding round the ref? If it's a pen, VAR will give it. (Unless it's Spurs )
  22. So we won handsomely, to go 11 points clear of 3rd, and Forest conceded in injury time to draw (and complete my accumulator ). Me likey.
  23. Fair play to Swansea, they had a right go, and were still trying hard at 2-1 down, compared with Stoke who gave up after they conceded. Only after the last one did Swansea really look out of it.
  24. I had to listen to the Swansea TV commentary, and despite stratospheric levels of bias, , they said near the end that it is clear Leicester are in the wrong league. Too right.
