I know it's their B team, but they've spent a lot of money on some of these craphouses, and so a tonking here will put Ten Hag under a right load of pressure.

Mason Mount cost how much?

It was classic big 6 bias that Roy Hodgson might have selected Drinkwater for Euro 2016, when he was in his prime, and would have linked well with Vardy, but selected Jack Wheelchair instead. That turned out well, eh?

I did notice this and I thought at the time that it was an eyebrow raiser. It was almost certainly just lack of thought and inclination to maximise revenue, without any thought about when and where the broadcast was. -
Fernandes and Anthony in their ranks acting like that, and they wanted to rehabilitate Greenwood, too. What a shower.

It would be soooo Everton to buck their ideas up and be above the relegation zone, only to then get a points deduction.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

Me, getting in from being out for 2 hours: I'll put the cricket on, we did really well getting India out for a low total, I'm looking foward to this run chase... Oh. Bugger... -
Not a clue Naming conventions up here are noticeably different, there are more clubs where their name doesn't give any clue where they are from (Raith Rovers, Albion Rovers, St Johnstone, Queen Of The South, The Spartans) - or even, like (Woolwich) Arsenal a clue that they have moved since they were formed (Partick Thistle). You've got some exotically named clubs in the lower reaches, of which my favourites are probably Auchinleck Talbot, Kirkintilloch Rob Roy and Irvine Meadow (at whose ground a blind elderly lady with a foul temper once smacked me with her white stick, but that's another story). As for flowers, there's no puffed-up masculinity attached to club names - I know a guy who used to go and watch Linlithgow Rose FC, and their song (to the tune of "glory, glory hallelujah" / "stop the bus I want a wee wee", depending on your mood) was "Hail, the gallant Rosie Posie"

I made a noise when I saw this at the start of the game. If you didn't make a noise, you aint watching the same game.

I thought NZ's rugby 2nd half was scintillating and they can feel a tad unlucky.

Still waiting for the slo mo replay of that massive hit by Etzebeth at the start of the match.

What a great goal.

That is disgusting. Necastle lad threw himself to the ground, Wolves player touched the ball first.

I used to work with a load of people from Leeds and most of them were just like Harry Enfield's "George Whitebread" character. Even the women. Especially the women. (Shudder). Smash the Leeds.

Nah mate. It's not irrational.

Dammit, I was aiming for Jonathan Pearce.

There was a dappled autumnal sunlight. An ethereal glow over the Loftus Road playing surface, with the Harvest rays reflecting off the "burnt apricot" shirt of Marc Albrighton and enhancing the shimmer of the tanned legs of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, resplendent in his teeny tiny shinpads, as he deftly allowed the ball run across him on the half-turn for the 15th time. And I wondered where I had seen such illuminated pulchritude before. Such warm October hues. And then it came to me.

Agree this might be what happened, but he should perhaps have kept his cards in his pocket until he made his mind up. -
"TEAMS AGAINST WHICH OUR CURRENT EXCELLENT FORM BEARS FAVOURABLE COMPARISON, WHEN YOU TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THEIR ACCUMULATED TOTALS LAST SEASON AND OURS THIS SEASON" you'll never sing that

He got the red out. He put it back. He got it out again. It looked a bit chaotic. The (admittedly extremely biased) QPR commentators on my stream were sort of OK with the outcome but fuming about how it came about. -
I like this. A kind of hors d'oeuvres before (fingers crossed) we have a "Teams That Can't Catch Us" thread later in the season.

Day off today. Saw The Creator. It's absolutely top notch. Really impressed.
