  1. Lester, yeah, loads of them. "Leicester" as a name?
  2. I'm quite enjoying this.
  3. Talking to yourself is your only chance of a sensible response.
  4. New Zealand are going so low as to look as if they are off their feet, they putting hands in, they are getting on the wrong side...
  5. Fair play that's brilliant.
  6. Shouldn't be allowed to have a white skull cap. If a thick prop forward (as I once was) sees the head in a white cap lying on the floor they might try and hack it upfield.
  7. Agreed, but awarding a corner, then blowing for half time just after the corner is taken, was a bit naughty.
  8. It wasn't much fun, was it, repeatedly watching opponents outwork and run past a strolling Soumare and blowing Tielemans, or having been gifted the ball by big Dan Amartey, striking a goal through the spot where Ward ought to have been. We weren't good enough, we stuck with Rodgers for too long while he was making bizarre decisions, and the damage was done by the time he was punted. Ultimately in that league, you get what you deserve, so tough nuggets. But if Maddison had slotted that penalty against Everton to make it 3-1, we'd have stayed up, because our finishing position and theirs would have swapped. Small margins. I wonder, in another universe where that penalty went in and we stayed up by a gnat's bawhair, whether the board would have kept faith with Smith as manager, in gratitude for rescuing us? I'm not sure we'd have been too clever up there in the Premier this season, without the shock and reset caused by relegation, but I think probably above the current Premier League bottom 4.
  9. That is poor. VAR spoiling things there.
  10. With a tinge of sadness, no. He was a part of our high flying heights, and he was (and probably still is) capable of a long range worldie. But he was a big part of our failure last season and it is already apparent this season that if you don't work hard to get into Enzo's team, and continue working hard once in there, you don't get selected. Let it go.
  11. It's the same "you weren't *there*, maaan" idea that ex footballers will always make the best co-commentators, pundits and panel members. You only have to watch Soccer Saturday on Sky, or the horrors of BT/TNT's Champions League coverage to see that a lot of them are thick as mince, or only think about three teams, or can't vocalise the thoughts that do occur to them.
  12. To the tune of One Man Went To Mow: Jamie Vardy scores If he gets half a chance Rooney cheated on his wife With his hands down a Grandma's pants
  13. Great stuff. NGL - gulped a bit at the end there.
  14. What the hell kind of a skewed graph is this in The Times? Apparently 39 = 24 and 14 = 25
  15. That first tackle the ref should have seen it and issued a red. And because he missed it VAR should have asked the ref to have a look.
  16. That is amazing. How's he not off ?
  17. Are people seriously voting for the manager to go? Or just having fat thumbs when voting?
  18. Better today. Good work. Got stuck in. But not half as creative goung forward as Wilf is at the minute (how did THAT happen). Enzo making occasional use of an eager and willing young player. No problem with that.
  19. We looked in control anyway, but we looked so much more of a threat when Vardy and Ndidi came on.
  20. TEN BLEDDY POINTS clear of 3rd.
  21. Won at a canter after 6 changes. Wilf and Vardy coming on seemed unfair. Wow. Love it
  22. Not been the highest quality encounter. And the camera looking at the empty stand makes it look like there's just a few hundred in the ground.
  23. Agree with the commentators, that decision is filth.
