  1. Because managers hold a decent amount of power and if they are repeatedly asked difficult questions by a certain reporter they will just cut them off (bit like Nige did with Stringer, under different circumstances) so Journo's tend to keep their powder dry to avoid this.
  2. Pretty confident about this one - transferred in Bowen, Wan Bissaka and Potter on the assistant manager chip on FPL so expecting a god thrashing, fingers crossed.
  3. Do you have a matters arising document in conjunction with the minutes to task people with actions, with deliverable dates and outcomes?
  4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c78ew94l6ggo Nasty way to go
  5. Poor lad looks like he is going to have an injury prone career ahead of him.
  6. Small fry? Market cap of just below a trillion. OK
  7. I’ll be keeping a watch on their share price after this news
  8. Deterrent
  9. Don’t disagree - I just think IMO that’s what we don’t need at the moment given the state we are in. An experienced hand at the wheel would be better
  10. Ok, he's done better than ''OK'' but not sure a £5m roll of the dice is a good idea for someone who is unproven and achieved less than RvN. We desperately need someone who is experienced and who can stabilise the club on the pitch at least and who has a proven track record of doing so.
  11. Read Ant Middleton - Cold Justice on holiday, picked it up as finished another book and it was hanging about in the hotel lobby - surprisingly good fiction.
  12. Reacher S3 out on Amazon, enjoyed the first two seasons.
  13. Nope. Look back. I just quoted you in your bicker with Otis, as you blamed the Tories for an 80% increase in the price cap. I was responding to misinformation mate.
  14. Yes I do understand it which is why I'm confused you laid blame at a political party then rowed back on your point and it's now due to the worldwide event when I mentioned it. Everyone understands the price cap will likely go up, especially in winter months due to the market price of gas and availability due to the weather, I think the wider population are gradually cottoning onto plenty of labour pledges which aren't achievable alongside the backdrop of what they have done already which weren't in their manifesto i.e cutting winter fuel payments for pensioners.
  15. You do realise in 2022 a major worldwide event happened which caused the energy price increase? Are you seriously suggesting a political party caused this? LOL
  16. I’m talking about full pay here
  17. Are you his agent? He's done OK and not worked wonders like McKenna did at Ipswich (back to back promotions) Sheff Weds are 12th, not contenders. £5m buyout is a massive gamble on an unproven manager
  18. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3d8x3v2re8o I wonder what would happen the average man on the street if he chinned someone and ended up in jail.
  19. Fixing the foundations
  20. Thanks gents - my mate had his M3 and wife's car stolen with a couple of nice guys in the hallway with balaclavas on and he is also looking for a solution when/if he gets the cars back...
  21. Looking for someone who has had bollards fitted to their driveway - the automatic retractable ones are silly ££ so looking for the ones where it’s just lock and key for now, if anyone has any recommendations
  22. Because there’s an angle of opportunity with any transaction, why do failed businesses get bought out of administration? A new owner doesn’t really have much initial capex investment either - training ground is there and the stadium expansion can be kicked into the long grass.
