I was 9 in 1997 so didn’t take much of an interest.

Lincolnshire in a toad in the hole. Different occasions, different sausages

This is exactly it, in a nutshell. I know people will have roses stapled to their eyeballs but there a lots of people unhappy about this, from a moral standpoint. Starmer has received more donations than every single Labour leader since 1997 combined by the way. The £20,000 GCSE excuse when the period in question didn’t even cover the majority of the GCSE period. Was he also breaking Covid rules by staying there? That will be revealed this week. Post election for any government should be the honeymoon period, this has been anything but. People will peddle how bad it was under the tories - and yes it was, terrible - especially with Boris and Truss. Why would anyone use that as a yardstick for what the future should look like? We used to be in league one so we should be grateful we’re playing so badly in the premier league? Same principle. Toad in the hole almost ready, couldn’t resist a trip to the butchers this week.

Just my opinion, you don’t need to bite every time! Thankfully we live in a democratic country where we can debate this stuff.

The floodgates could open now

Bournemouth (H) Pre match thread (05.10.24, 3pm)

Win this and we could sit 13th. I’d have taken that after 7 games. Still think with the right manager we could have been top 10 and double figures which is the frustration, the squad is good enough. There is some right fodder in this league -
Only 6 games in tbf. Plenty of time for him to come unstuck
-
I think winks is rigid in the way he plays, he fitted perfectly last season but one thing that wound me up a treat was the complete pointless 1-2’s he does, not as much this season as he has no time on the ball, literally passing the ball 5 yards back and forth a few times. This season teams are better, no space, different style and he’s missing. I wish it was different but skipp is miles ahead of him
-
What other premier league team would he start regularly apart from us? There’s your answer.
-
I’m cooper out but not sure what else the outcome would have been today - apart from a pasting. A dodgy decision with the foul on Vardy - questionable added time etc. most teams at the emirates will get outclassed this season they are a top side.

Unlucky today lads - gave it a good go -

Kate Garraways daughter and Greta…. Is this some kind of undercover nonce thread, taken a disturbing turn the past cpl of pages!

Sorry mate I was just jesting around the rain - I didn't realise you were going to take the trouble of explaining it all.
-
I thought it was how hot everywhere was the main issue? Global warming, or Global ****ing raining.
-
What about the Green lot?
-
Only an idiot wouldn't realise that was a bit of tongue in cheek Raj PR has been a disaster 2 months in, I agree with you, lets see in 12 months
-
Looks like another 3-6cm of rain due between 6pm tonight and 6am friday for central areas.
-
When you tick the box in July and then they turn out to be not what you think two months later it must be hard. We've agreed so much recently it's a shame you're back to disagreeing with me
-
I agree, impressed with Skipp

It conflicts with Labour stance on privilege. There are plenty of kids that will be sitting their GCSEs this last year who will of had much bigger disturbances than a few reporters outside. Off the top of my head - children where there is domestic violence in the house, children who's parents work unsociable hours to make ends meet so the 16 year old in the house turns into parents/carer, children who have no space to work or study as they share a living space with their siblings. This is an £18m flat, not some 2 up 2 down in Barnsley. Most children would go to the Library, like everyone else has to do. It becomes very much ''us and them'' and he's somehow managed to try and justify it. Maybe on it's own, it doesn't look too bad, but its on the back drop of everything else, with his own ministers smirking away whilst coming up with the most absurd excuses to why this has happened. Bring on the budget

I think you mean its £42 for a league game, it's definitely not that for the cup.
-
For a cup game, it isn't?

Agent after some more £££?
