  1. Agreed, this has to be it
  2. Just watched the Valdo Calocane panorama, completely desperate and depressing. Feel sorry for his family aswell as the victims family.
  3. Need something new to watch, will be lost without the Olympics tonight!
  4. Clegg probably won’t give a **** about his reputation, he’s been coining it in since leaving office.
  5. I know it’s not the same principle but there’s lots of these about!
  6. Not surprised.
  7. Anyone off to Athens
  8. Needs a season in the Championship - if he replicates what Barnes and KDH did then he deserves some game time in the PL, until then, Championship for a season will do plenty for his development more than 10 min cameos here and there
  9. Alistair Campbell was an after dinner speaker at an event I went to earlier in the year, he was really good and engaging, few gags got lots of laughs and some others a bit flat - this was pre GE so he was plugging the labour party as expected but it wasn't a hard sell. Willam Hague was the year before - a bit before my time but found him facinating, he got a standing ovation.

    Yep and an adult
  11. The KP was toxic in parts last year... so dreading how bad it will be by end of September.

Definitely not, walked through Edgebaston back to New St for example on the way back from the cricket last year - absolute dive, as is central Birmingham in some places. A lot of major cities in this country have really gone down hill quickly

I completely agree with this on the provision of amenities front - no amount of money would make me want to move to London though!
  14. Yeh that’s her - rear view better
  15. Canada v Brazil beach volleyball yesterday, cliche I know, one of the Canadians was a bombshell but didn’t catch her name
  16. On the basis they have promised not to raise taxes then it leaves not much else to go at - pensions being the likely lamb to slaughter. Not here to discuss politics, separate thread for that - I made a throwaway comment that I was sticking money in my pension before possible tax breaks disappear, it’s not that deep
  17. No but you can look in the press. We’ll revisit in October!
  18. It’s inevitable - we’ve just got to wait until October to find out
  19. What are the “plenty of mistakes” Vichai made? Just out of interest, plenty suggests a lot of regular mistakes
  20. Not sure what the panic is, we’re on track for a point away from home.
  21. Bit, not much. Chucking it in pension atm before the tax breaks evaporate
  22. If it means going out and proving himself then that’s better for us and him - it will save the meltdown every week on here when he’s on the bench. He has done zero so far to justify a place in the team - coming back from a big injury and if on loan has an opportunity to rip it up in the championship. Win Win
  23. Will go back up
  24. Can’t understand why he’s surplus to requirements at Brighton.
