  1. Yeah. Lost their first first two games 7-0 and 4-0.
  2. Massive helping hand, but that’s a lovely goal tbf.
  3. In the last 10 years the average points of a team finishing 15th is about 40 points. So, unless you get 40 points early and then fall off a cliff, it’s going to be a struggle until the last few weeks anyway. The 14-15 season, which most definitely was a struggle, we finished 14th on 41 points. So even by what you say you would be satisfied with, it is still going to be a struggle.
  4. About the same as last season then. The gap between the Prem and Champ seems much bigger than when we last came up.
  5. Was about the same last season in the Prem too.
  6. I have Spotify but try to buy any album I listen to more than five or so times on vinyl to give something meaningful back to the artist. Due to finances probably don’t buy as many as I should though. Still have CDs which I barely play, much to the annoyance of the wife.
  7. Averages for the season are interesting. Batting - https://stats.acscricket.com/Archive/Events/38/Vitality_County_Championship_2024/Leicestershire_Batting.html Bowling - https://stats.acscricket.com/Archive/Events/38/Vitality_County_Championship_2024/Leicestershire_Bowling.html You take out the overseas and the guys with the best batting average were Trevaskis and Scriven. Trevaskis only picked up four wickets all season though at an average of 105. Even Chris Wright’s bowling average is 80. Ben Mike was the only on contract player for this season to have an average under 40 (though Holland’s ave was 36).
  8. Hampshire’s sale doesn’t include The Hundred franchise based there.
  9. Ha wow. Parking the bus and still giving players unmarked tap ins.
  10. Listening on BBC 5 Live and they say Winks and Hermansen were having a row after the goal.
  11. This is both lovely and depressing, I’m that it’s now nearly in legacy territory. I hope you called you kids something like Jamie and Claudia.
  12. They’re going to lose their shit when they realise where the money from their shirt and stadium sponsor comes from.
  13. Completely with you on the new Fontaines DC. Lead single is brilliant, but the rest meh. Has made go back and really enjoy the last one more though.
  14. King Hannah English Teacher Goat Girl The Big Moon Boygenius Sorry Porridge Radio They’re all worth checking out. Warpaint excellent too if you’ve not heard them before but been around a while now as are Big Thief.
  15. Stream pls?
  16. In front of nobody because it was played at 11am on a Monday. Another great idea to move it from a Saturday to a Sunday originally.
  17. We’re not very good, Everton are not very good. Same with Ipswich and Southampton. It’s a race to somehow drag yourself to fourth bottom.
  18. Goal of the season contender.
  19. Too high for him and it just hit him to be fair. Mads getting the better of Garner now so get Fatawu on the other side and running at Young. Should be able to put plenty of pressure these last 15 mins.
  20. Saved a certain second there after Faes got beat the to ball.
  21. It’s the stigma of it particularly the process of having to go and sign on every day to prove you’re not the pariah sponging off society. It’s a really depressing process. Most of the people who would be quick to claim all people on the dole are scroungers have never been through the process.
  22. Ahmed’s batting position is by request of the ECB for this season.
  23. Oh MON infamously got a lot of stick early on.
  24. Disappointed for him as after all the attention he got for the Test call up, thought he really deserved to be in the ODI squad.
  25. You can only rely on the whole Kevin Keegan tactic of ‘we’ll score more than you’ in certain situations and largely when you’ve better attacking players than your opposition. At the minute I feel much less enthused about watching Cooper’s side so far than even when getting frustrated at times under Maresca. But I do wonder what exactly he thinks about his defensive options which leads to him being more cautious. We’ll see what the set up is like when he plays the likes of Fulham and Palace at home.
