  1. I completely agree, however it was infuriating seeing that, just by changing formation or bringing on more attacking players between the 60th minute and going 3-0 down, it might have given an opposition at least something to think about. Instead nothing was done.
  2. They’d have made changes.
  3. Again - I don’t understand these fans who claim our squad is good enough to be mid-table when we have a collective meltdown because two players with a combined age of 68 are missing a game through injury. We’re going to have to keep it a lot tighter than last time. I still have hope weirdly though.
  4. Yep. Winners of the Welsh Cup went into it.
  5. I hope you’re right, but there’s not been much from Republicans in opposing Trump yet, especially if not going against him will be a boost for their popularity in their own patches.
  6. If he controls the Senate and House as well as having his yes men on the Supreme Court, he could change anything in theory. The two term limit of a president would be the first to go though you’d wager.
  7. We’ve gone to two relegation rivals and not lost. I think that’ll be massive come the end of the season. A word on the defence - all along I’ve said I don’t think they are good enough for the Prem, as they weren’t two years ago. I’ve seen very little evidence to the contrary so far and it’s mad people seem to think it’s good enough to be mid-table.Today though they stood up to a lot of pressure and a referee who let a lot go. They defended far better than I thought they would. They weren’t outbullied against a lively attack. As many were, I was annoyed about Cooper’s early selections but I’m more now actually understanding why Cooper lined up as he did for the start of the season. Today was great for a bit, then Ipswich pushed up higher so we lumped it long and barely won a header, so the ball kept coming back. It’s not as easy passing through as it was in the Champ and those front players were at best, completely isolated even in this game against what I reckon most neutrals would say is fellow Champ opposition. Ayew was the last Prem player I’d want us to sign. I genuinely didn’t rate him at all. Thought he was selfish and past it. I’ve been really surprised with how much he brings. He did it less so today, but just winning a free kick was more than most of our front three did it in that middle 60 minutes. Yeah, it’s easier with a man extra, but I’ve really see how useful it is and why bringing at least one of Mads and Fatawu on rather than starting them might be beneficial. Others are right, you need to finish above one other team than those promoted, (something not managed by last year’s promoted sides) but we’re probably best equipped to do that, something I didn’t think at the start of the season given the changes.
  8. The moment he got smashed into the dug out, but then came back and instantly smashed into the player to get the ball back was great. Fair play to him today. At times he was isolated and I think they tried to target him but he stood strong against Hutchinson.
  9. Presumably to run around and put some pressure on.
  10. There's going to be a lot of injury time. At lease five or six mins already.
  11. Thought the defence have largely stood up well to that bullying tbf. Don’t think we’ve won a header from a long ball though so it just keeps coming back.
  12. I’m guessing partly because it’d have to be led by a 37-year-old.
  13. We’re doing a lot of good stuff, but the different in urgency between their forward line and ours is so noticeable.
  14. I don’t know who I’m more annoyed at… ….Cooper’s team selection or the people who reckon our squad is good enough to easily steer clear of relegation.
  15. Just when you thought the late window would be disappointing, Jayden Daniels did that! Mental ending.
  16. You’ll be telling me he doesn’t play for Notts Forest next.
  17. Is that you Chris Woods?
  18. Given how all the Man City players are lining up to praise Southampton they must have been really crap.
  19. This is why it annoys me when people say our squads good enough to be mid-table. Bar Okoli it’s the same defence that got us relegated last time. Is it one clean sheet in the last 30 Prem games or something?
  20. We’re as close to Arsenal as we are Southampton.
  21. How the F- did that set piece work in the 98th minute? The outcry if they’d have tried that and it not come off. Listened on the radio. Can see why Southampton would be pissed off at the ref to be fair. You couldn’t not give the penalty and the red though, no matter what had gone before. If we can only sort out the first halves.
  22. Joe Bradford never played for Leicester but was from Coalville.
  23. You’re completely right about international managers requiring a different skillset, but disagree about it suiting Tuchal. He tends to fall out with people and it’ll be interesting to see how that goes given the one thing Southgate was undeniably good at was making England more like a club side getting away from the ‘cliques’ that ex-players have said was previously the case. It reeks of how Capello was to be honest. Obviously an infinitely better tactician than Southgate though so hopefully long term I’m wrong and you’re right.
  24. It’s something ridiculous like the Broncos only had about five losing season in history before the last Super Bowl and they haven’t had a winning one since. I got given a Broncos shirt when I was really young and had no idea what it was. Then happened to get into NFL about 30 years ago when it was on Channel 4 on Saturday mornings.
