I think it’s more really trying to warn Europe against complacency. I think it did get complacent with regards to Ukraine. Even with months of building up military on the Ukrainian border, we were all still shocked when they went over. There’s a build up on the Estonian border been going on for a few months now. Obviously Russia say it’s just training and a reaction to NATO, but they said the same thing about Ukraine. You’d like to think it’s a bluff again given Estonia’s a NATO member and they won’t do something, but we’ve been wrong before. I really do think if Trump gets in Russia could invade Estonia and Trump would just shrug his shoulders at best. Then it’s up to Europe as to what happens next.

I think the whole point of the team selection for this tour was to give the young spinners some experience. Could do with some now.

Most of those are controlled by the US though, where Trump could be in charge in a few months. Is Trump more pro Putin than pro NATO? He’s already spoken recently about allowing Putin to attack some NATO countries.

Yes the miss was bad, but we really missed his pressing from the front when he went off. The first Leeds goal the move starts with their defender running forward with the ball into midfield for the first time in the game and you could tell he was surprised he’d suddenly got the time to do it. He probably was tiring tbf.

It’a really annoying we’ve outplayed Ipswich twice and Leeds once and only got two points from those games after conceding five late goals. All five of them deflected strikes.

It was almost a perfect performance, but we didn’t put our chances away and then they get three lucky deflections. That’s it. We are seriously shit at chasing games though. Seriously rubbish.

Hope I’m wrong, but can’t see past a Chiefs win. I can see the Kansas defence getting to Purdy. Hoping CMC fires and keeps Mahomes off the field as much as possible.

Also, remember as Leeds and Southampton have to play each, at least one will drop at least two points. So that’s a 14 point gap to one of them. Potentially as good as 15 points with the GD.

Mads has already been worth a good 12-15 points this season.
