What about him? -
Jacob’s injured, or at the very best returning from injury.

Not excusing the performance… but we are decimated by injuries and suspensions. The outcome was likely to be the same if Cooper was still in post. Don’t disagree with your assessment of Hamza and Skipp -

Isn’t Stolarzyk still injured, or returning from injury? Agree that Iversen is better in my opinion -

For goodness sake. We have players out injured and suspended. It’s not as though Ruud had much choice. Had he selected this side with a full squad to chose from, then he would have been lambasted -

He’s the worst parts of Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho -
Is his nickname Heinz?

We’d be in a jam if he was

Makes sense now. Thanks for the clarification

As Rodgers demanded of chilwell when he had Mahrez and KDH to mark and then TAA and Salah....and the crowd barracked Chilly!!!) Has KDH ever played in the same team as Mahrez and Chilwell?
-
I agree with several comments about KDH’s performance over the last season or so such as not influencing games, poor distribution, shot selection and pass choices etc. However, what really concerns me most is how he lacks effort and drive in key passages of the game and his head quickly drops. This was typical of many of our players last year and contributed to our relegation. He really has to eliminate this from his game.

If any of the long standing players had demonstrated the necessary capacity for directing, leading, cajoling, encouraging etc then there would be no argument. The problem is they haven’t. This is one of the reasons we slipped out of the premiership with a whimper. We do not have any established players with these attributes because they are too nice. Cody plays the role players like Henderson performed at Liverpool. He is gobby. Nags, directs, instructs. He’s in the opposition’s faces and challenges refs. Just what we need
-
Precisely. And what has Belgium won? So called ‘golden generation’ choked in every tournament in recent years. Lacks the determination and consistency to be top class.
-
His performance was typical of that for the 🦊 since the turn of the year
-
We will. But at the moment, he’s not leading the team by showing the desire and grit needed to get out of the mire. Over the last year, in the main, he’s been great for us. The last couple of games, he’s been a passenger.

Leicester 0 - 1 Arsenal POST MATCH
Harry the Cat replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
We were playing at home. We delivered little fight and hardly any passion. Even when we lost last week, for the first half we the strongest team. We are talking about a team of mainly international footballers after all. Our league position is because we are not playing well enough- not solely because of the money spent. How come we pulverised Spurs and Villa. They have spent significantly more money than us. -
That’s not saying much is it? We really need to get a couple of strikers in for next season. Preferably ones who can hold up and pass the ball to one of our players, and can demonstrate passion and energy.

Leicester 0 - 1 Arsenal POST MATCH

But not as shite as us -
Agreed. It was a frustrating game. But as captain, I think he needs to harness his frustration more constructively. I saw Ronadaloesque traits yesterday which I don’t appreciate. Admittedly it’s early days and he will get more time to grow into the role. He is an intelligent and articulate young man, who learns quickly.
-
Sorry, but don’t agree. Today Madders didn’t lead by example. Too often he flung his arms up in desperation and showed his frustration with his team mates. Sometimes he stopped working back when he lost the ball. Not leadership material for me based on today’s evidence.

Completely agree with this assessment
