  1. The £92m odd loss we made in 2021/22 won't be on this season's FFP, which will help a lot.
  2. We won't have any transfer embargos. Our finances will look a lot better if we got relegated than the last time.
  3. Yep, ignore all good decisions and purely focus on the ones that haven't worked out. Ayew is a good squad player and El Khannouss looks a great buy. Buonanotte too was a very good loan. Cooper didn't work out and was swiftly replaced. Go on, you are allowed to admit we made some very good player and managerial appointments in 2023 to get promooted.
  4. I know it's unheard of on here!
  5. Made some good decisions since we got relegated. Brought in the right manager in Enzo and the players needed to get us promoted. Pushed PSR to the limit in 2022/23 and made the necessary sales to keep us within PSR in 2023/24. We have been unlucky to lose potentially our best player for the season through injury, but made some decent signings in the summer. Along with a couple that haven't worked out yet. If we can stay up this season, we'll be in decent shape. If not then we'll have a good squad for the Championship, also with a few of the high earning squad players off the books since the last relegation.
  6. I’d have him back for half the price we received. Otherwise, probably not.
  7. If you need to bring a sub on, then you want to bring as good a player on as possible. Youngsters shouldn’t just be given minutes when they aren’t ready. Most of our best youngsters went out on loan.
  8. If he was currently good enough, he’d have played more minutes under various managers.
  9. He starts ahead of Facundo. He's only started two matches since Ruud joined.
  10. I think he’d start most matches. More than Buonanotte currently does. Also he won’t be here next season. We are unlikely to sign a better player than KDH in the summer, especially if we are in the Championship.
  11. I’d love to have him back. He’s a quality player that would greatly strengthen our midfield options.
  12. It tells you what a great signing Mads was.
  13. I haven't watched them enough this season. They have under 50% possession on average, so don't control the ball. Seems like they are trying to pass it more from the back this season, but can still be direct. I don't think he can pass the ball as good as Vestergaard or Coady. I imagine a future CB signing under Ruud would need to be very good on the ball.
  14. He wouldn’t get a game under Ruud in either division. Not good enough on the ball.
  15. He has 4 and half years left on his contract. There is no reason whatsoever for extending it now.
  16. I think we needed a good CM. We have seen recently how short we are in that area. He's not worked out so far for us though. I'm willing to give him more time before writing off. Ayew and Reid are both been decent squad players for little outlay.. No problem really with Okoli either. A young Italian international CB. He could well come good.
  17. Or he’s pulled his groin and will be out for a few weeks. We just have to hope it’s a minor strain. .
  18. Not too bothered about that, as we only had a small chance of getting anything out of it. Having our fourth and fifth choice centre mid pairing didn’t help. Next Saturday is a big one.
  19. Alves clearly doesn't deserve to be ahead of anyone on the bench. That's why he's not in the squad.
  20. He left when he got an offer from a top 4 team. Hardly surprising. Also not surprising we wasn’t happy about it at the time. Also doesn’t mean Enzo didn’t enjoy his time here and the relationships he had with the owners and Rudkin as he has stated recently.
  21. He seemed pretty happy at the end of the season with everyone. At the end of the day he recently praised Rudkin, which you wouldn't have done if you thought he was a complete liability. He also gave a glowing report on Leicester City in general to Ruud, which helped him to make his decision to accept our offer.
  22. Or having worked with Rudkin for a year and knowing him much better than every other Leicester fan, he might have thought he did a good job in a successful season.
  23. No he's not going to criticise them. But you also don't need to go full on with the praise. If they had a falling out after Enzo took the Chelsea job, it doesn't change what happened in the 12 months before. I'm pretty sure if hated the way the club was run, he would have told Ruud to politely decline the job offer.
  24. This was one of his quotes: ‘The owner and his family are fantastic people, fantastic human beings. They care for the players, staff, all the people that work inside the club, and you can see that. And the sporting director Jon Rudkin too.
  25. There's no way he's thinking, I really need to specifically give Rudkin some praise just in case it helps me in the future!
