Agree - can’t see the first two coming right as we are now. I can’t see us being big enough for Poch. Potter would probably fancy a bigger job than us - are we, right now more attractive than Brighton? I’m pretty sure Dyche and Rudkin are mates of sorts so I think it’ll be him. Come round to that idea now I think, he’d shake us up and make us work hard and difficult to beat, I think he’d let our natural talent blossom more than Rodgers has been doing, he’s pretty much been restricting any ‘flair’. Time will tell!

That 11 on paper is difficult to improve drastically without major outgoings being replaced, whereas all of the rumours are fringe players on the way out. I guess BR doesn't want his strongest 11 to rest on the morals knowing he has a strong squad to chose from. Difficulty now is having no Europe where there is more chance of rotation and having a stronger 15 players or so. The top 4 or 6 are able to go out and just strengthen each position without much consequence whereas we can't do that financially - massive faux par on BR if he thinks we can do. We almost need Europe again next year so that we remain attractive to incomings and earn extra ££ - avoiding relegation and finishing bottom half won't help us out long term at all.

I think Praet has been so under utilised - parts of the season where Youri was off form he would have been perfect. Something Rodgers doesnt like in him..

Have a flick through the Transfer section topics for a page or two. These are all players that we've been 'linked' to or 'situation we're monitoring' and we've signed none of them at all. Absolute pinch of salt with this until there are any more credible sources that is true.

Reckon Rodgers just threw out the ‘refresh’ message in an interview without actually discussing with the club how realistic it will be - maybe trying to force the matter a bit? I see that Top is in town this week, no idea if there is any significance to that or not regarding transfers.
