Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list
Corky replied to Daggers's topic in General Chat
Obviously he wore others but I can only ever recall him in an orange shirt. -
Not quite. He had played one match then had a successful loan spell at Barnsley. After signing his new deal he then played several games before another injury. It looks bad in hindsight but it could have worked out differently. He was 26 so could have become a squad member or moved on but he wasn't a past it player at the time.

West Brom - Potential PSR breach
Corky replied to The mullet of Phil Gee's topic in Leicester City Forum
Haven't heard anything and I believe it would kick in next season. -

Thanks. I seem to recall both parties releasing statements when we were charged on both occasions and found it strange it was reported by the media, West Brom posted a comment but the EFL have said nothing. -

Has there still been nothing official about this? -
We concede early and don't recover or we score first then invite pressure. Just looks like a 3-1 defeat either way.
-
Even though it is referenced in the Vichai song?

Guess The Clubs Headline In Relegation Statement
Corky replied to The Year Of The Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
After carefully considering all of its options, the Club has elected to opt out of the Championship in 2026/27. -
Bromley are well run, no issue with them. I really do not want a Class of 92 love-in with Salford.
-
Yes but has their owner's business been affected by Covid? It must be on the players' minds.

Exactly the type of goals we love to concede. This will be over soon.

Has Kieran Maguire said anything about this? I presume Nick De Marco is on standby. -
Puts three of our performances against them last season to shame.
-
I think we still have a pull. The amount of talk positively around the ownership is baffling but mentioned. Again, the discussion about the quality of the squad exists so one of these coaches probably thinks they can turn it around.

Excellent result. Often when you draw with a top team there is luck or the weather involved. None of that this time.

Looking at the fixtures, you would think West Brom, Portsmouth and Oxford would win at least a couple each. We'll probably manage two points at best -
West Brom - Potential PSR breach
Corky replied to The mullet of Phil Gee's topic in Leicester City Forum
Of course. The EFL, who deducted us six points, have randomly chosen a team nominally within range (ignoring the two between us and even the one in 19th, only a point further ahead) to drag down to help in our quest to survive.Which is going so well we have won once in 16 games when we need to overhaul two clubs to stay up. -
Survived for this long because he has the occasional decent game and is seen as a utility player. Should have been moved on years ago.

Has there actually been an official announcement about this yet? -

I doubt it will be concluded this season and we will finish 23rd anyway so no material difference. -
If Tottenham are relegated, what happens to Maddison? Obviously has been injured so no direct blame, would he want to stick around in the Championship around the age of 30? Which Premier League club would take him after a year out?
-
It isn't even the level of Everton, West Ham or Leeds. When Norwich were 23rd in November, their fans were blocking the directors from leaving.
