If you look at the "other" teams that have won trophies in the past five years, there is a case for suggesting that all four managers (Rodgers, Moyes, Glasner and Howe) would have been better served leaving the summer following. None kicked on and all came under fan pressure within a year.
-
Pointless introduction to the game.
-
Has really kicked on in the last three years. Dominated the Championship, did well when he played last season and is now flourishing at Everton.
-
Rowett referenced it last week when discussing the reaction of the crowd, that we had seen it multiple times.
-
Lovely. Chelsea clearly feeling the effect of the draconian punishment from the Premier League.
-
Our last six permanent and caretaker managers have managed 70 points from 77 league games with 8 clean sheets between them. Spectacularly awful.
-
Both Southampton and Norwich rewarded for acting decisively and correcting their error. The best owner in football getting what he deserves for paying bugger all attention to his club.
-
What a truly grim season. Glad for a break from watching this awful team struggle to win matches and remain in a battle to stay out of the third division.

English tifo/active fan group culture

Clubs up there need the support. Far better to get them heavily involved and take the youngsters away from the Old Firm. -
Football clubs are really odd entities. How difficult is it to just say "You know what, we have failed, we know we are underachieving and understand the frustration"? Oh no, only 50 people officially boycotted so isn't that good?! Most people know when they aren't doing well and can hold their hands up. Yet it almost seems a sign of weakness if football clubs, like politicians, admit it in the first place.

Half the games involved at least one side scoring 7 or more.

Penalising non attendance makes no sense here. It occurs at the top clubs with huge waiting lists and demand outstripping supply; we do not have that problem. Those season tickets, even left unused, is guaranteed income, removing them without others taking their place is a risky move.
-
We have been punished based on the PSR mechanisms. Chelsea's issue, while worse, has no bearing on our case.
-
Cannot see him recovering from that. Crap way to finish but what a career.

QPR Saturday 14th March 3pm (H) Protest - Unite for change

What about those who believe the only important part of the club started in 2010 (well, 2013 when the greatest ever owners finally got going)? -
May be missing something obvious but how can you forfeit a game that was completed?
-
Oh yeah, we are no victim or martyr. Our behaviour has been pathetic for years. But this is significantly worse than PSR breaches. Stefan Borson explains it really well.

The pre match montage and the applause sum up the feeling that a section of the fan base have that we have achieved it all and nothing really matters now which is at odds with those who want us to continue striving for achievement such as being a good Premier League team. We spent the mid-00s wanting that, then the early years of King Power ownership wanting that and I do not see why that course should be shattered because we have claimed silverware. Winning the league was unthinkable and unlikely to ever happen again. Being where Fulham, Bournemouth and Brentford are now certainly is not. Ditch the video, move on and focus on getting us to be an entertaining, determined team again.
-
Aren't they appealing our deduction because they believe not submitting accounts on time is worthy of a points deduction yet this discrepancy is only worth a fine?
-
The section about Chelsea's owners alerting the League to discrepancies is alarming. Nothing was being done until the threat of the regulator was brought in. Didn't Everton fully co-operate, too? Clubs could do what they wanted until the Premier League was called out. Now they are being selective in how far they go to punish. Pathetic.

Peter Lovenkrands' DaneScot accent is remarkable.
-
It is probably down to this mistaken belief that we have quality and experience throughout the squad (we have even seen erroneous claims on here that the squad is similar to 23/24) and that, at some point, it will work out.
-
We are just a lazy club. Anyone trying to do anything different (Barry-Murphy appeared to try and was pushed back) is frowned upon. I would say it is because the senior players make demands but they appear to hate playing for us. No idea. We have been winging it for years and the luck has firmly run out.

I really cannot see what managers like about him. Slow players are nothing new but he seems particularly hindering to progress. Fair enough, if he gets the ball and plays it quickly then the game might move but he'll receive it, hold on to it, head away from goal or look for a foul. I would detest playing with him, he'd be slaughtered in a seven a side kickabout.

Around six weeks and it appears he has been a big part of their improvement.
