I think we still like the notion of our sports teams achieving through hard work and creativity rather than just having money chucked at it. It is rubbish because moneyed clubs have been around since the game began. If they care about the club then great. The genuine fans have had years of misery and are relishing the current times. But others cannot stand overly positive narratives too (We were certainly not universally popular when winning the title). It will calm down soon when they hit their ceiling.
