Fits our dull set up. Miles behind us last season, thrashed twice, hopeless this season so naturally we are all in.

McKenna has got a big six to eight months coming. Deserved his reputation to a point but then the likes of Paul Lambert and Nigel Adkins managed back to back promotions, did better in their first season than McKenna but didn't kick on. He'll get a pass but a slow start next season and goodwill drifts away.

This year has been quite sobering with the amount of empty seats through fans not turning up or not being able to resell tickets. It proves that supporting should not be unconditional; that prices, kick off times, form and general attitude do play a part. Plus, despite an element of the fanbase being determined to portray us as a traditional lower league club way above our level, the Premier League is not a new attraction. Playing Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United isn't a rare phenomemon. Think we are in for a spell of lower attendances.

Footballers must know that the vast majority of them will have careers that take them around the country. Uprooting isn't easy but I would expect a club to put pressure on to be available as much as possible so the likelihood is that you move nearer to the club. The ownership have to be so much firmer.

When you have a bad run you look for shoots of recovery. In the past seven games, we have barely attacked, offered a clown show of a defence and ambled round the pitch. We had NO shots in a half of football we needed three goals in. There is nothing worth keeping. A botched, failed, hopeless experiment. Keeping it going is a waste of everybody's time.

The "attacking" stats for us should get the coverage, at least.
