  1. Time for the owner "who cares about this club" to step in and instil discipline.
  2. A slightly improved performance. Those clapping were ridiculous. Only a few more weeks of this to go.
  3. Yeah, there are elements of it. To be honest, I hope he gets to 200 with two more goals then we part ways. Clinging on forever won't help.
  4. Buzzing for this. We always back the lads.
  5. He'd have been an upgrade on both our choices but you sit through an awful lot of waiting before getting progress with him. Still not proven in this league, for me. His last six months at Brighton has done a lot of heavy lifting on his record.
  6. Two relegations in three seasons takes any entitlement out of a fanbase. Especially with the first containing players now excelling in Europe, winning domestic cups and near the top of the Premier League overseen in the main by an "elite" coach. The second is likely to be club record -breakingly bad with some aspects of it the worst in the history of the entire League. Expectation has grown and rightly so. This is unacceptable.
  7. Any good? Don't know much about his history.
  8. Yeah, you might have been grabbed by a League Cup win but that isn't really going to sustain you forever or massively impress the cool kids. Winning the League was so unexpected that it wasn't until February that you would latch onto it. If you are still with us then fair play. We have a lot of fans who follow this club from far and wide and travel to get involved. It is a great effort.
  9. And a Man Utd fan commentating.
  10. This pair would be the most undeserving Champions League participants ever.
  11. Ri! Ri! They done it Ri! Oh my God! Man, the vibes in this!
  12. Jesus, this commentary.
  13. At least that one was onside
  14. Intriguing as to how the club approach this. We are likely to be confirmed as relegated around 4pm when Wolves get their result but you'd imagine the tone deaf element will be in force, hyping the game up for no reason.
  15. And he's doing the snooker commentary from this weekend
  16. Nearly at 50 Premier League goals now.
  17. No, I think it is more that established Premier League clubs want to make it virtually impossible for promoted clubs to compete. We would have been the same years ago. They have closed the loophole (that should never have been there in the first place). Ourselves, Everton and Nottingham Forest knew what we were doing so no sympathy but there is no doubt we are all a victim of timing where the Premier League want to be shown to be "tough". Clubs have seen points deductions coming in for strugglers which makes their life easier. They have also seen clubs sell car parks and women's teams to comply and be allowed so why vote against that when you could use it at some point?
  18. And let's be clear, clubs in whichever position would vote whichever way suited them. Self interest is rife.
  19. Newcastle were able to spend that because the previous owner spent so little.
  20. Barcelona are all over the place.
  21. They are sounding ever more desperate and struggling to justify how poor things have been for years. Football is an ever changing, ever evolving industry and we are being left behind. No new ideas are coming in, no alternate views listened to. The same people in the same jobs indefinitely.
  22. Important not to lose if you can't win, especially in a short season.
  23. Cheers, I did check after posting too. Was just dreading the only commentary option being Fletch on every session with his man in the pub routine.
