Exactly what I was thinking. Everton have been at this level for years. We've been pushing the top 4. Our decline is so, so much worse than theirs and it's actually been orchestrated by our own manager. Lampard has kept Everton at the same (albeit poor) level.

Nah you've been sucked in! I almost thought the same for a minute. The issue is these so called pundits sympathising with him and feeling sorry for him not being able to spend money. How about all the money he's wasted over the last 3 years? Why aren't they talking about that?
