Manchester United 3 - 0 Leicester City - Post Match Thread

Feel for you, I'm already home. We left as soon as they got the third. And even by then I couldn't take much more. -
Cheers! I will. I like the Cure but haven't got passed their greatest hits really so I will give your recommendations a listen. I did pick up The Head On The Door fairly cheap on vinyl but it's the only Cure record I have (aside from their greatest hits). I noticed that Cure albums seem retain their value. I somewhat think Smith is an underrated songwriter and singer. Even now his voice seems strong.

Not sure of the standard but a first league title in 17 years is an achievement, obviously their previous managers were unable to do it. I did see Mourinho was in contact with Duff/Shelbourne. One of his former players of course. -
I refrained from posting when I saw that Nalis post that.

Quite right. I can't think of a better job in the top 4 divisons during that same period. -
Yeah just reading now about tearing down Palestine flags pre match.
-
When I heard it on radio this morning it was making out they were victims, that's why I was a bit confused with what has gone on.
-
Just heard about all this on radio. Not sure what is going on. It said there were already people waiting for them as soon as they arrived.

I've said it time and time again on here I don't get the obsession with Corberan. Did a good job at Huddersfield but even in the play off final against Forest they had 0 shots on target. He seems very defensive to me and I think that works when you're at a club like Huddersfield but West Brom should be one of the better teams in the division, especially at home. -

Robins did the best job in the football league over the past 5-7 years, unbelievable to think where Cov were when he took over and that's with having to deal with ownership and ground issues. He does strike me as a manger that will be successful with the one club though, a bit like Pearson with us. -
I'm hoping teams like that get top 8. I'd love the clubs who wanted a super league to end up in the play offs.

Happy Fox posts the same thing before every game. Not very Happy at all actually. -
No worries, but it was a non album single anyway
-
Obviously I'm recommending a Beatles one. Hard to pick as I think Revolver is them at their most creative, but I would recommend Abbey Road or Rubber Soul to someone who wants to listen to a one off album.
-
Villa fans seem to love him but I've never rated him as a top defender. Seems to chuck his body in the way of everything, granted, but for a top 4 club I'd want better than him.
-
No it was Ranieri. I tend to try and forget about league games that season but the Man City game was about 5 games before Ranieri led us on that 6 game run of not even scoring a single goal.

Man Utd put 4+ past us (our B team btw) and the only other team to do that were Arsenal. Given we've played Spurs and Villa as well, who are both better teams than Man Utd, I don't think we've suffered enough huge defeats for this to be "another" one. -
I think if you look at Pep's five biggest loses at Manchester City we inflicted two of them. The game you are referring too and also the 4-2 under Ranieri.
-
Load of rubbish. Chelsea have had the third hardest start despite the fact they've only played two of last season's top 6 (Man City, Liverpool). Forest have also only played two of last season's top 6 (Chelsea, Liverpool) but they've had the fourth easiest start? If this season's form is an influence then both teams have also played Brighton. You could argue Chelsea have played Newcastle as well but Newcastle sit on the same amount of points as Fulham who Forest have already played.

It’s not as if Stockport are bad either. They started well too but one defeat last month has seemed to knock them.
-
Can’t believe he was at Cov.
-
Wycombe already 3 up at Stockport. Really strong so far this season.

Sounding like Xabi Alonso is getting a heroes return as expected.
