Weren’t that long ago you started a thread about us staying up so make your mind up.

A shame the goalkeeper cannot communicate with his defenders.

Nobody will ever convince me this bloke is any good. One of the reasons we got relegated is for persisting with Ward a reason this season is for persisting with this idiot.

I did read on Reddit recently a Birmingham fan say the general thoughts from their fans is that if Rowett was appointed earlier they would have stayed up. He should have been appointed earlier here, instead of messing around with King in charge. Knew it. People love it being a foreign name but, as I said back then, he's done nothing aside from keep QPR at mid to lower table. I was never ever convinced by him. And I always said a better manager would/should have our squad higher and I stand by it. Rowett already looks like he's getting more out of the players.

I found it weird he changed away from his normal penalty because he'd already scored one against them earlier in the season at their place. He was usually so good, so cool, he would definitely be in my top 5 penalty takers for us. He does love them though now and works for them perhaps.

Great boycott indeed but would never happen in England. We're a bootlicking nation.

Didn't realise he was 24!

Regardless of pay it's still tough to not feel sorry for him in terms of being substituted in a game as a goalkeeper, especially so early. Even more so when, personally, I feel he was at fault for only the third goal. The first is a slip which can happen, and has happened, to any player. He has played well in previous Spurs games, kept clean sheets, so in a normal work environment you wouldn't be sacked after one mistake (or at least not in my role anyway, granted every job is different). Not that I think professional sport is comparable to your everyday "9 to 5" job.

Should definitely have more, especially being a one club City.

I said it in the Rowett thread, so don't want to repeat, but there's something about him I can back compared to previous managers. I have a sense that he will unite the fanbase a bit like Pearson did.

Also what I hate now is people seem to talk on loud speaker constantly? I find it bizarre they hold their phone in front of them but don't want to talk quietly with it against their ear.

This one came to my mind straight away. Dickov was an excellent penalty taker but chose the other way, as I recall, that day and missed. That was in front of the Kop. And Manchester City behind his old club of course.

I read into "not backing him" wrong then, fair enough if he wanted players and they go for totally different. They do seem a bizarre club now but I don't ever think he was their "saviour".

Chelsea's "saviour" for winning a trophy they should have won, the prestigious Conference League (which West Ham won only two years previous), and the Club World Cup which I wouldn't even call a trophy Also, genuinely, why do you roll out this "they didn't back him"? They spent stupid amounts of money during his time there (Felix and Neto were more than £40m each, Dewsbury-Hall and Delap were £30m each, Garnacho £40m, Pedro £55m.. I could go on..).

We've played much better than I expected. I was expecting defensive first football but we've only really done this away at Ipswich in the second half. Aside from that we have been direct, more creative and actually getting shots in. He should have been appointed earlier instead of us messing around with King. Much better manager than Cifuentes.

Yeah train is easy, nice journey, then get the tram from the city centre as per @LcFc_Smiv post above. I'll be getting the train, albeit only one stop for me. Enough time to get there and a few beers in the centre.

I think it was harsh. The third goal was a howler but the first was a slip which we've seen plenty of times before. The second goal was horrendous defending in front of him.

One of the best/most expensive squads at this level. It's always the referee's fault though.

The other year we had both tiers and it sold out despite being midweek. It's a fairly easy ground to get too and it's bank holiday this season of course.

Something about him that I can really get behind compared to the previous three managers.

I said this ages ago, I think it's what they do in Spain. If the big clubs don't want to play replays then I don't think they should have the advantage of playing at home.

I don't have high expectations of many of them but Ricardo has been poor given his ability. Calls for Mavididi but he only had one decent half a season, under Enzo, so my expectations of him weren't high anyway.

Think they’re massive now after about 5 good seasons in 20 years.
