  1. Shilton and Lineker are up there too. Mad when you think Banks/Shilton/Lineker are among this countries greatest ever players and they all played for us. Could argue Kane too, granted a more limited time here.
  2. I think Savage is a bit underrated now. Always talked down. But a mainstay in a really successful period for us so couldn't have been that bad. Looking back at some of the goals from that era too, some of his assists were good quality.
  3. Of course I "get it" and yes I'm a fan of the protests but Rudkin and King Power aren't going anywhere so the next best thing is to hope for a new manager. However that won't happen either so we're stuck and ultimately, going back to my original point against yours, the manager is not getting as many point as the previous manager despite having the same players. Cooper wasn't great but at least he was picking up points and we were scoring. Now we offer nothing. This manager has made us worse and he is to blame for that. Tell me when the decline started? This time last season everyone was happy, we were top of the league and Enzo was seen as some sort of genius. Rudkin and King Power appointed him. Or was our decline before that, under Rodgers? If so, nobody blamed Rudkin and King Power then. Everything was Rodgers fault because, oh yeah, he's the manager.
  4. Of course he's the issue. It's boring hearing people make excuses for him. He's the manager, he's to blame. A better manager would have got more points, even from this set of players.
  5. We're not 99% down though. We're 6 points behind Wolves, with them to play, with 10 games to play. Now would be a good time to get in an actual proper manager. Actually, about three months ago would have been a good time too.
  6. Shareholders rejected it. As I said in my post above there is some sort of freehold thing at Chelsea where shareholders own the ground, not the club. The club tried to buy Stamford Bridge before but shareholders rejected it. Not that I know 100% how it works but I'm sure this is why they have to stay in that area. It's not as easy as just moving to a new around like Leicesterpool quoted London Stadium.
  7. Not as simple as moving for Chelsea. I'm pretty sure there is some sort of naming rights issue with Chelsea.
  8. I dunno. I used to believe the Premier League was hyped up about a decade ago, but in the last 5-7 years Man City and Liverpool have really made the league better in quality. You think that in that time Man City (twice), Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool (three times) have all played in the Champions League final. Liverpool played in back to back finals under Klopp which is rare these days unless it's Real Madrid. At the end of the day Liverpool are the best team in England currently and they lost to the best team in France. PSG are hardly pushovers regardless of the perceived lack of quality in their league. Tbh it's about time PSG won it and I wouldn't mind seeing Enrique win it.
  9. The Vardy “banter” is embarrassing. Stuff like “he’s won more than you”.
  10. He’s such a knob as well. Puts it around but dives on the ground as soon as someone gives it back. That tackle he got booked for at the weekend was a disgrace, he had no intention of winning the ball.
  11. Dunno about Tyneside. Newcastle are nothing like OP described. Media go mental for them because their fans take their shirts off when it’s cold. On that note, have you noticed how many of their fans wear replica shirts? I reckon they are top at that. Don’t even get me started on their home atmosphere though, it’s awful. But again the media seem to big it up for some reason.
  12. Must be hard watching Norwich. Every week they seem to be leading but throw it away.
  13. No it's not. They're a disgrace. A lot of players aren't "Premier League quality" when they get promoted but the least the do is try. Savage summed it up for me recently. He said he was nowhere near the best player for Leicester but he would absolutely give his all, and these players do not do that. We've just had to witness 6 home games on the spin without scoring a goal ffs.
  14. So early man, I want to know if we will be relegated by that point before forking out £30.
  15. I can't believe they're actually leaving Old Trafford. I thought they'd have expanded like Liverpool have Anfield.
  16. Where are these cheap flights everyone is talking about? Every time I look at flight prices, even to places in Europe, they are nowhere near as little as £20.
  17. I've been leaving early all season because we're so shit, but it then gets called out on here. I guess leaving early is only acceptable when everyone does it?!
  18. We were (are) so poor but they were so boring. Would hate to watch that every week given the amount they spend. Nothing there. I must also add their players enjoy a good dive!
  19. Who is voting for Faes and Vestergaard. Please.
  20. Of course, because people forget really easily in football. However, we paid £17m for Kristensen. Some of the output these players have given is ridiculously poor given what’s been spent on them.
  21. It’s the worse team I’ve seen us put out. Absolutely nothing there. They’re all jokers.
  22. Yeah. That’s why I ain’t going. Better things to do Sunday evening than waste my time and money watching us get beat again.
  23. He is one of the worse left backs to ever play for us.
  24. No even looking like scoring is even worse.
  25. When we get rid of that idiot managing us.
