  1. One of the big reasons they are more respected by players and the media. Been saying it all season. We're pussies.
  2. Pearsons teams will always be my favourite. Couldn't give a toss if he loses every other game he manages elsewhere. Honestly I don't want him back and risk his reputation here. I respect the man to that degree.
  3. I reckon he'd have sacked him after we bottled the top 4 the FIRST time. Vichai was great at spotting trends. He didn't suffer fools.
  4. Everything has turned to shit. Minus the vanity project/white elephant training ground that the club were pregnant with from when Vichai was alive, everything has declined horrifically. The club is run like it's still in League One with a Championship standard stadium. What a spectacular missed opportunity to becomes one of England's elite. The fall from here will be terrifying so buckle up.
  5. As predicted, nice gentle applause at the end. Sorry for bothering you Premier League, we'll go back to where we belong now. As a fanbase we have played a big part in this debacle.
  6. Sell the team Top
  7. We totally deserve to be down
  8. Literally nothing to do with Everton. They are an irrelevance. We should NEVER have been in this position. NEVER EVER EVER.
  9. It's gonna be 2002 against Manchester United all over again isn't it. Even though the two situations couldn't be any more different.
  10. Are some of you Liverpool fans or something? Why is there always a desire from some to run defence for them regardless of the absolute vile shite that comes from their mouths. **** 'em.
  11. I'm sorry but if anybody believe the Frank Sinatra/Louis Armstrong versions of WYS work as a football anthem you're absolutely ****ing nuts. At least Budd's version works in that regard. It sounded absolutely fantastic last night. People need to get over this. We aren't ever going to be stood up clicking our fingers and jiving to a little jazz number (with extended periods of no singing at all) before a match.
  12. If we were Leeds, West Ham or Everton the fans would be rioting. No chance you'd see their players smirking and not giving a ****. Our happy "just nice to be here" clapper fans are partly responsible for this. We don't demand excellence, we don't command respect.
  13. Not a chance, this is a team packed with individual talent and experience (it should NEVER have been in the conversation for relegation) so it will get raided like a box of Celebrations at Christmas. The team will look unrecognisable in the Championship. Plus we are broke so King Power will look to recoup as much £m as they can before selling us off.
  14. I can scarcely believe that this is now the likely outcome. With the talent and experience we have in this squad we should NOT be in the conversation, let alone be favourites for the drop. Not in a million years. Tell you what, I know as a fanbase we are completely bollockless but we better not start the emotional applauding at 85 minutes like we did in 2002 when we knew we were relegated. We were always favourites for the drop that season. This is almost the same team that finished 5th 2 seasons ago. The team, management and ownership deserve the most venomous anger they'll ever receive on a football pitch if we do drop.
  15. Remain professional and remain neutral at all times. Even if you don't like your mate getting stick. Those with banners and those booing were his unhappy "customers" expressing their feelings. You don't have to agree with it, but respect it. In fairness we'll never know whether he really was shaking his head at the fans, but it certainly looked like it.
  16. Just completely resigned to the inevitable. His head shaking at the boos and banners after the Palace game said it all. He's never sacking his mate. I just hope our story is sexy enough for an investor to come in and buy us once King Power is forced to sell us on the cheap next season.
  17. Nothing even remotely hypocritical. Between 2014 and 2020 the average gap between 1st and 2nd in the championship was 68 points. Verstappen won by 146 points last season. Over twice as dominant as the Mercedes era average and 22 points more than Hamiltons most dominant season in 2020. I mean fair play to them for nailing it but **** me they are making everyone else look like they belong in a different Formula. To make matters worse we are now in the cost cap era which means teams can't even spend their way back in to contention now. As it stands Red Bulls advantage could be locked in to 2026. If Russell is right then no way that remains the case.
  18. He's getting some stick online for this but....he's right isn't he: Finishing 39 seconds ahead of the nearest non-Red Bull, and they weren't even pushing . Barring mechanical failure or a first lap incident nobody else is winning a race this year. What's even the point of the season TBH . Will the FIA bring in some early reg changes to **** up Red Bull like they've done to Mercedes and Ferrari in the past!? As for Mercedes, holy hell. Deciding to ditch their car concept before the first green light of the season. : https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12472/12825186/mercedes-to-ditch-formula-1-car-concept-after-agreeing-with-lewis-hamilton-we-are-not-good-enough Essentially pissed an entire winter and two years up the wall on a concept that never worked since day one. Disaster. Seeing their own customer team fly past them with their own engine, gearbox and suspension will have really smarted no doubt. Russell got passed and dropped by Lance Stroll who had broken wrists FFS.
  19. Said it before but if he loses every game he manages from here on out it won't stop him being my favourite Leicester City manager. From where he picked us up, and the journey he took us on across 3 divisions whilst leaving the foundations for the greatest story in football, the guy is a hero. But some of the disrespect he gets from a handful on here is genuinely, GENUINELY weird. We love to tear our legends down at this football club. We're very unique in that regard.
  20. Maybe, without giving him time how would anyone know? A lot of people also forgetting how dogshit they were during the back half of Tuchel's reign as well. Tuchel is a short-term guy. Gets results initially and then proceeds to piss everyone off before it inevitably starts going over a cliff.
  21. If Chelsea sack Potter I'll go and pick him up tonight. You don't hire the long term guy and then sack him before he's even had half a window to work on the squad. Also worth noting that they are without Mendy, James, Fofana, Chilwell, Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Broja, Sterling and Pulisic. We aren't the only ones who can complain about injuries.
  22. Not selling Belvoir Drive was always a bizarre one for me. Why is the club paying for two training grounds? Keeping options open in case we need to move back perhaps?
  23. Without Maddison we are down. Absolutely no doubt about it.
  24. Said it a million times on here. As a collective fanbase we are a bunch of pussies. Fans of clubs such as Everton, Leeds, Aston Villa, West Ham etc etc would never accept such horseshit we've seen for so long now. I genuinely believe it's one of the biggest reasons we aren't respected by the media and ex-pros. We don't throw our weight around nearly enough.
  25. I think he walks. Our next game is the first Euros qualifier against Italy away in March. Lose that (yet another heavyweight defeat) and things will turn very nasty. It's time.
