Imagine leeds could be in some bother now.

Watching teams passing the ball instead of putting in crosses and trying to score is infuriating The obsession with possession is so much it trumps common sense
-
Its nowhere near done. So many good fights almost every week
-
Wrong points but right decision. Personally had it 114-112 People knock the Arab fights, but they seem to have the fairest score cards
-
Taylor's arrogance despite all evidence and logic being against him is one of the main reasons I'm so amped up and hoping Catterall knocks him out tonight I'll also take Taylor dominating and then being robbed by biased english judges though

Tough to decide what I hate more, Man U or Peps brand of football. Ideally neither would win

Rangers gifting celtic a goal...im shocked
-
The pattern of play is very predictable this season... Rangers come out scared of their own shadow... gift Celtic a goal or 2. Then decide that they're going to actually try and do something around the 35-40 minute mark.
-
No point even playing the final today, just give Celtic the trophy. Rangers have bent over for them at every possible opportunity this season
-
Yeah they are separate entities you're right, which is good and I should probably take a day to collect my thoughts before typing anymore rubbish

No ideal, been googling to see if there's a deadline on these things. Footballers contracts run till June 30th Don't they, so I'm just hoping that we could technically do something in June if possible.

One of the points made by some in the council in the past year was why should Coalville receive funding for youth teams and ground maintenance if they're turning a profit. I think it amounted to something like £15k a year over 4 years to help subsidise the 90 junior teams. If that gets pulled then Glynn has to either cull the junior teams or find that money. Obviously all guess work on my part, but there will be a reason for Glyn's decision and experience tells me he's making the best possible decision given the circumstances. My guess is that the club will remain and new ownership comes in, hopefully in time for the coming season 24/25 if not then 25/26. Glynn making his decision now nice and early at least leaves a window of opportunity (I'm guessing anyway ) ****ing hell man, nothing to make you realise not to take things for granted like having your team ripped away haha.
-
The club hasn't gone under as far as I can tell - it's still operational - just the first team is being pulled as obviously Glynn isn't going to be able to finance it. Glynn's probably received some news this week with regards to funding for the club and decided at 70 he hasn't got the energy to fight and decided it's best to take a beat and reassess, no point going into the season without knowing if we have owners or a chairman. I'm sure we'll have news in the coming days/weeks about potential new investors/owners and where that leaves us. Glynn wouldn't do this lightly though, the amount of time and effort him and his family have put into the club is phenomenal.

Clearly something has triggered this as we've been announcing signings this week. Reading into it, potentially a loss of support from the local council after recent elections. Not quite sure what to say at the moment, but with the massive work that's been going on behind the scenes, the club should be fairly attractive to new owners. Sounds like the club will remain which it should do, as it's a fantastic community asset, the next few days and weeks will be interesting. I hope I've got a team to support in 2 months time.

Following that sweet JG cashola

Been a while since we've had a striker over 6ft. Half expecting Stearman to be announced next with all these Leicester links
-
Anyone doubting whether he deserved to be there can finally let go of it now haha. Hopefully they drop Wright and Price next year and bring in two better players to make it a bit more competitive (Wright) and likeable(Price) Think Dobey would be decent and if you want someone with quirky facial hair, Damon Heta's your man.
-
To be fair you could show Romero and Casemeiro highlights and they'd probably look similar
-
If Kompany is Bayern class, Dyche must be getting lined up to take over from Pep.
-
Exactly, when he could work for a billionaire owner who has spent over half a billion making his team worse.

Catterall v Taylor on Saturday! Long awaited rematch after one of the most unjust points decisions you'll ever see. Stats from the original fight. Josh Taylor vs. Jack Catterall - CompuBox Punch Stats - Boxing News (boxingscene.com) Catterall scored a knockdown in the 8th and both had a point deducted. The eye test looked like a clear Catterall win, then when you look at the stats, he arguably wins 9 or 10 of them. I'm actually buzzing for this one more than the Fury v Usyk fight. Catterall was robbed of a chance of some big fights by corrupt judging and I can't wait to see the man get revenge.

We used to have crack heads come into my local every Saturday until it closed back end of last year, asking people if they needed anything from the shops. Put a little order in with them and they nicked it for you and sold it half price. They'd often walk in with a bag full of stolen meat to try and sell, good place to go if you hadn't sorted out that Sundays roast

2024-2025 PL Fixtures - 18th June (9AM)
filbertway replied to Hitesh's topic in Leicester City Forum
One of the promoted teams (not sure if it's the champions) usually plays last seasons champions first, so probably Man City. -
Plus 5 million for each of his coaching staff. Plus Choudary for a cut price £25 million to help shore up their defence.
