Okolie is hot garbage
-
Does the commentator keep saying Begmir?
-
8 second rule isn't in play then
-
Definitely faked injury there haha
-
Christ Fatawu is lucky there. Thats a terrible challenge
-
I think the fact that Boro are equally pedestrian in attack to us is doing us a favour. It's like watching 2 Leicester's which is even worse than watching 1 Leicester
-
At least the refs consistent. Same foul as the one Vesty got
-
These are as dull as us. Painful watching 2 teams allergic to breaking at pace
-
Imagine if its Ayew on the wing with Okoli and Thomas as full backs and James as the 10.

Skipp and Thomas <3 -
That's up there with "if fat bob can neck 20 pints of carling on a saturday and play on sunday then why can't a pro" I hope you're joking, you must understand that performance levels will increase as a player gets match fit/sharp.

He's not kicked a football since that Huddersfield game has he? Lad's gonna be rusty as hell if he starts. If he is being brought into the team then he needs to be allowed time to develop match fitness again. He's already proved he's a good defender at this level. I hope Marti isn't just introducing him for this game to appease the fans and actually wants to integrate him into the team.

If that turns out to be the team, id like to congratulate Boro on their 3 points. Absolutely honking. Further nullifying our offensive options whilst have our most dangerous attacker being asked to play wing back and soumare removing the advantage of a middle 3. Our squad is pretty grim. So little fight in the available players -

I think it's becoming pretty apparent that this squads reputation is actually better than the ability. If you combine that with the general apathy and lack of desire amongst a lot of players, I do feel for Marti. He needs to find a way to get the players fired up, but as I said in another post. They're getting paid handsomely regardless of performance and their reputations will allow them to move clubs once they've drained us and pick up a nice wedge somewhere else. We're badly lacking a core of players that have a point to prove and that's what contributes to such tepid displays. Not a clue what you do about that but Marti has to find a way to get through to them and soon. -
That does really back up @westernpark's point quite nicely though. The players are happy regardless of what happens because they're treated extraordinarily well. Sure there might be the odd embarrassing or awkward moment, but at the end of the day they've got a cushy lifestyle with no real jeopardy. It's why Rodgers makes himself to popular as well, give the lads plenty of money and they'll love you for it. I'd be the same as the players. But it is very much part of the reason why we're in this situation and the lack of effort on the pitch and regression of standards in the club is a testament to that.

Not sure theres a great deal of benefit to changing the manager. Cooper properly did a number on us with the absolute horror show of a window last summer. Just piled more garbage onto the existing pile. Just need to get this season out the way and try and come out of it in this league. Although it feels like doesnt really matter Just remembered Luke Thomas got a 4 year contract extension. Christ. Top and Rudkin are both top tier bellends. -
Easy way for them prevent or stop the booing to be fair. Plenty of people to give them a thumbs up and clap to reinforce that these levels are fine though.
-
Didn't see the first 30 but he was awful second half. Never really got how people rate him. Disregarding his ability, his body language is garbage most of the time. Absolutely no tempo to him

Was always a risk, I'm surprised we've gone this long without Abdul picking up another injury after last year. If he also picks up a muscle injury we're done for -
He also seems to get considerably worse after 2 years at a gig, working with the man for longer than that must be brutal. The more I think about it, the more i'm convinced he'd do very well at international football.
-
Probably just a semantics thing from me there to be fair mate. A head coach i'd say just works with what they're given by the club. Whereas a manager will oversee a lot more of the football side. In Brendan's case he seems to see himself as a manager, and outside of the coaching stuff, I think he's horrific. It sounds like we're roughly in agreement haha.
