  1. Both equally gruesome. Not a fan of the 3 at the back idea but maybe it's worth looking at, especially if Blackburn intend to sit deep. -----Okoli Vesty Faes (ideally Nelson as one of the 3 but i'm dreaming) Ricardo James Winks VK --Fatawu Whoever Monga
  2. Imagine Ayew in the 10 role behind Daka. It gets the pulse racing doesnt it
  3. He's a terrible manager. He consistently leaves clubs in a worse position. Good coach, he should take up national team coaching where he just works with a finite number of players and can't get his grimey hands on the finances. Players only have to see him a few times a year as well so wouldn't be able to suck the life out of them.
  4. I guess this specific scenario hasn't, but clubs juggling Europe and domestic is hardly a new thing. The beauty of being in the conference league is that theres plenty of scope to rotate. As I mentioned. They have an Irish and Finnish team, if thats not an opportunity to rotate I don't know what is
  5. Right, I genuinely don't see what the problem is I'm not even sure they're complaining, it's not like this has come as a surprise to them. It's been the same way for years.
  6. Yeah it's a pretty mad schedule for the European teams. Can't be bothered to look at all of them but Arsenal and Chelsea have 16 games. Spurs and Liverpool have 15. I feel like this isn't a new thing though. We could sack of European competition and that'd free the schedule up for them. Alternatively field a reserve/academy team in the League cup, if they get through, good for them they can play next round.
  7. They've got Shelbourne and a Finnish team in that time frame. I'm sure they'll be fine with rotation.
  8. Yeah you've gotta feel sorry for these premier league teams that have far more money that 99% of clubs in the world. Theyve all god squads paxked with players earning millions a year. Im sure they'll be fine. Whether its 4 games in 8 days or 4 games in 4 weeks, you'll play teams of varying ability. Nothing has changed in over a century in that regard.
  9. Good job theyre allowed to name a 25 man squad of senior players, use academy players and make 5 subs a game.
  10. Reverse Kisnorbo. That being said, he's not an attacking midfielder that's for sure and his defensive instinct aren't great, also he's never played the position so god knows where he'd end up I'd just leave him out the starting 11 and save him for when we're chasing a goal to cause some chaos.
  11. Surely this is the game we see some meaningful change. Full week to prepare, he's now got solid proof of who can and can't trust. If we don't see positive changes to approach and match day squads in the next couple of weeks then it's hard to imagine we will.
  12. It's only half hour away. Should have left at 9 and grabbed a wigan kebab before sign up.
  13. Jesus that's horrific
  14. True that, to be fair i'm talking as someone that traditionally has to travel a max of 15 miles if the game is away and then it's back to the pub to watch footie on TV. Trips to Liverpool for an 8pm boxing day kick off would be much less appealing
  15. My main takeaway from that video is, I hope the Southampton keeper has a trade behind him as well.
  16. Haha I went uni there so mainly got around by walking, but when I drive up, even though I'm aware of these, it's not good how often I find myself messing up and indicating and hoping a good Samaritan will take pity on me
  17. I love it, I actually look forward to boxing day more than Christmas day I get it when the Saturday is a day or two after boxing day though, doesn't really make sense not to have the majority of games on the Saturday. Whichever day it is, the first footie day after Christmas is always great, few extra people will join in the pub and it's usually a good laugh.
  18. This has brought me far my joy than Leicester possibly could this season
  19. Yeah, Parker or anyone can say he was fine, but you can't stand there for 60 odd seconds letting someone unload 40 punches and expect the ref not to think you're in trouble. Would like to see a rematch, if not then Itauma v Parker could be a good one next year.
  20. Bamford The bloke is garbage, terrible suggestion
  21. 2 cracking semi finals and the finals looking like it'll go all the way as well
  22. Ive been disappointed with some of Fosters stoppages before, but no complaints on that one. Wardley threw about 30-40 punches unanswered As someone that wanted a Parker win and had a wager on him, even I thought it was a fair stoppage. Great to see Royston putting in a very solid performance after a while out. Eager to see how far he can go in the division
  23. Great game this is, cannot call it
  24. With Rangers too far behind and Rodgers in his traditional 3rd season meltdown. Assuming Hearts will further strengthen in Jan, I think its about as good a chance as they'll have. Given the start. McInnes is a superb SPL manager as well. You are right though, long way to go snd plenty can happen between now and May
  25. Rejected by 2 champ teams. 4 year contract. Class again
