Is he going to cost a lot of money in wages? Almost certainly. I advise either waiting till the summer or signing a player that will improve the first 11. Let's not fill the squad up with bang average players who are earning more than they will earn anywhere else. We're literally just coming out the other side of that. That's incredibly short term thinking. Juggling Europe and a League One/Championship schedule would be insane I know Birmingham did it, but it cost them automatic promotion and they've been stuck in the Championship ever since (well until this season to be fair)

Don't underestimate the fact he's working for one of the most intelligently ran clubs in the world. Not to dimmish his achievements as he's done a bang up job as a cog in the wheel there. There's no way a sane person would be thinking that moving from Brentford to Everton is a great plan, even with the new owners. The contract would have to be insane to even consider it.
