Sadly I think youre right. Would take a bad night at the office for MVG, which feels unlikely given that he seems to have found some of his best form in this tournament. Could be a lot of 180s scored tomorrow night some real power scorers up there

Littler is so good to watch. Love how quick his finishes are Even better when he's able to trick the cameraman and go a totally different route
-
On form Littler wins this easy, I'm going 5-1 Littler. My prediction was a Littler v Dobey final. Assuming Littler progresses then it's really hard to choose the winners of the semis.

I would say if you don't think that wolves have taken a battering from VARr. You probably shower with your relatives

At this point I want Hamza in just to shut people up and remind them how awful he is

There's no corruption, it's purely massive incompetence. As you say, it makes no sense. Every club has their fans that think that everyone including the league and refs hate them though. Are you seeing a bit of improvement in performances under the new gaffer. Obviously you were gifted 3 points after Ruud decided to play 10 men and no keeper against you.

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

Mainly as they're terrible manager's there were hired based on their name rather than their qualifications or ability. The real shame is that good quality managers in the championship are overlooked for Prem jobs. The Premier league has so much money that almost every club can cherry pick all but the most talented managers from anywhere in the world. So unless you're a particularly outstanding candidate when held up against your peers across the whole globe, you're unlikely to get a chance. It's not some weird mad bias against English coaches. -
That's pretty wild, I'm usually on the other side with things like this thinking that bans are insane. But how can that not be at least 3 games for violent conduct? He goes in and elbows the back of the guys head, completely pre-meditated and the guy isn't even aware. I was expecting 5 games minimum.

Bollocks - was gonna see if my dad fancied going along to this one and totally lost track of what day it was Lovely attendance that is and sounds like it was a good game for the crowd.
-
Littler looked like he always does to me, if things are going well he's smiles, if not then his body language changes. Pretty normal as far as I can see.
-
Cruel on Joyce, was levels above most of the other players that played today. Wright v Bunting will be a corker if both can maintain the standards set so far.
-
Is this a real thought or some kind of mad parody? You said that like it's unfathomable haha

Convincing loss wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Hopefully mean the higher ups open up the cheque book. At this point it's worth going big and risking a couple of points deduction. If we go down, we've got 2 assets that are worth anything decent and they'll be sold to cover the shortfall.

Wright's been on the cough syrup, such a bizarre interview. You'd think Humphries averaged 70 and gave Wright the victory Superb performance that though. Some very tasty looking matches tomorrow.
-
I've just now remembered Vardy's chance from 6 yards out. How the hell did he not score that or even test the keeper It really does feel like they've been given a heads up about punishments as they just seem to be going through the motions.
-
That's fair if you think that, I don't really disagree with with your points either. I personally feel we could have created far more and higher quality chances given their absolutely kamikaze style defending. I can really see why their form is so bad. They're fairly toothless going forwards and gift you the entirety of their half to attack into. Their run of games coming up are insanely tough as well.
-
Feel like people are massively overpaying the performance. This was a Man City team that was there for the taking and we've barely laid a glove on them. Wasn't terrible by any means, but felt we could and should have done better. Can certainly see shoots of positivity with Ruud though. I can always get behind a manager that learns from their mistakes and looks to always improve.
-
Its a shame Gary Neville was commentating because you could write what he knows about goalkeeping on a postage stamp. Considering the lad has faced Liverpool and Man City in his first 2 Premier league starts I think hes done well.
-
Got that rare combo of natural talent and hard work. The boys gonna go far, hopefully we get to enjoy him for a few more seasons yet.
-
This game is 95% each team watching the other one pass at a snails pace. 5% realising that the defences can be got at. Never seen so much backwards passing in my life
-
Just thought I'd come in and get the thread warmed up for later

Are you sure you wouldn't feel more at home on a Forest forum Bilo? Feels like 90% of your posts mention Forest these days
-
What's the standard you're holding the Prem to? Because you must think La Liga and Serie A are park football if you think the Prem is crap.

The guy above him. Next.
