I thought all the rumours about him getting sacked were ridiculous to be honest. Yes they're going down, but that was the case before he arrived. Since he's got there they've had plenty of close games. Think I saw a stat about how a lot of their games have been 0-0 or 1-1 at half time since he came in. I think if they stick with him they'll get a respectable (by that I mean more than Derby...) points total and he can rebuild in the champ next season.

You did well. Absolute chaos after that. Ended up on the Sheffield one with the Derby fans. Thought they were really well behaved in the circumstances to be honest. The police basically decided to only let people in through one door. Then changed the door after directing everyone to head to the left (clearly on the wind up…). Honestly amazing there wasn’t a crush, got quite literally carried into the station at one point. Never seen that before. Plenty of space on the platforms for people, absolutely zero need for what they were doing.

Anyone else involved in the train station shit show? Police/Station staff should be ashamed, could have been a disaster.

Always plays for them, versatile too as he's either a RWB in a 3-4-3 or a right sided midfielder in a 4-4-2. They've also used 4-3-2-1 recently and may well do that tonight so that they can match us up, and negate his loss.

Eustace is a clever, pragmatic manager, they've played well since our 45 minute battering and I imagine that will continue tonight. They've also played 4 different systems since then, to match opposition strengths. A draw at best.

To be fair, we're long overdue a round of redundancies. They painted themselves as heroes during Covid and the first relegation (our staff numbers actually went up!!!!) but there's plenty of people who have been there far too long. As long as they pay people what they're owed, give them the right amount of notice and allow people to look for jobs during the notice period.... a round of redundancies should be the first thing a new CEO does. I realise that's horrific but it happens everywhere and we've carried on being comfy cozy Leicester for the last 10 years. I know it's the stat I always roll out but our senior marketing team have all been in position for 10 or more years.....

Time of year when people have family/friends visiting and might be able to go along with them as a one off. I definitely think you could get a back four of Ricardo, Vesty, Nelson and Thomas to keep a couple more clean sheets in that time, if we didn't keep hiring morons who don't do tactics . You've got a point though, perhaps the main issue is we haven't really recruited any defenders for quite some time.... (i'm not counting yo-yo)

Yeah this season makes things look better surprisingly.... having said that, we've only had 3 clean sheets this season which is a joke.

Looking at it on a calendar year basis you might have a point. Even something like relegation to league one was followed by a great start to league 1 life
