  1. Agree - but Enzo so fixed on his approach that Choudhury is the only other player who he’ll put in as inverted fullback barring injury to both him and Ricardo, and he won’t play a formation without one.
  2. This mob are the absolute definition of complacency - we could all see a massive fall off was happening 18 months ago, yet they still admit to budgeting in accordance with being towards the top third of the premier league table for last season. Staggering incompetence on display and the narrative accompanying the report prepared by Whelan’s spin doctors is disgusting in its arrogance. They also know we can’t protest on a large scale basis in the ground without them coming out and blaming fans for not supporting the team when needed. Rudkin, Whelan, and by failing to act Top have mismanaged OUR club to a level arguably never seen before given the amount of revenue we make. Utter shame on them. The supporters - and club staff who earn a fraction of this load of incompetent leaders - will feel the effects of their contempt for common sense and the rules they agreed to for years and years to come. Rotten to the core, Leicester City Football Club’s leadership.
  3. Doyle’s left foot was a big difference today. 5 or 6 very well found passes out to Abdul
  4. Would snap your hand off for 2nd right now. Hugely important to avoiding absolute financial armageddon which will hurt us for years and years to come. From the outside in I imagine we come over as the worst entitled supporters going, but from the outside perspective you don’t see the slow slow horrow show playing out and quite what we’ve managed to piss away.
  5. Would think any changes will be limited to Ricardo for Choudhury, Doyle for Justin (making defence even slower) and Daka for Vardy.
  6. Lost the last two at home being carved open by quick forward players on the break with our defence caught hopelessly out of position … hmmmmm
  7. Was a lot like this last year with the bookies, back then we were odds against promotion for a ridiculous amount of the season. No idea why but bookies seem to trust us a lot more than we do. See odds against Norwich for a perfect example. Just don’t get it.
  8. Was thinking the same - quick search uncovered this post, remarkably similar 🤣 - would be great if the next 10 years resembled what happened after this! “Given how we played today and to be honest for most of the last 10 games or so, id say it was impossible now, simly not good enough end of story, couldn't care less if pearson stays or goes, but obviously he can't teach the players how to beat the 1st man from free kicks or corners”
  9. It’s your future self telling you not to bother
  10. Really strong summary of where we are at. Wouldn’t be overly hyperbolic to say the next couple of months are existentially important for the club - in so far as the next few years and how far we may fall down the pyramid are concerned at least. In that situation one thing you need is to be able to trust the leaders, pull together and dig in. Sadly it doesn’t look like the players are doing so at all, and the majority of the fans are more and more passive bystanders as the ship starts to list.
  11. The critical mass of the fan base won’t turn until it’s far far too late and we are adrift at the bottom of the champ next season below Derby and Posh. Even then it’ll just be polite grumbling. Heart has been completely ripped out this club, from the owners through the squad to the stands.
  12. More likely they can’t be arsed, just like their performance on the pitch yesterday.
  13. Even when we were winning, with a couple of exceptions I didn’t actually think we were playing that well, and with the exception of Saints away when they were absolutely dire, our points return against top 7/8 teams has been pretty average at best. Not a chance we turn this slump around with this style of play and news of financial meltdown about to break.
  14. I’d almost love this to happen just so we can resurrect the Blame Wellens threads 🤣
  15. Just like last season we’ve been heading this way in slow motion for months now. Whatever happens this season, with the financial disaster we are in as we go forward we need a coach who can get the most out of limited resources, and therefore will need to be flexible and adaptable. Never been clearer Enzo isn’t that manager, so his time needs to be done. Problem is all of a sudden it looks like he’s not going to get us over the line this season either, and our board don’t have the wherewithal to act quickly, rather investing in blind hope which has served us really well over the past couple of seasons.
  16. Was as high as 28/1 😬😬😬 just shows how much we’ve imploded. Oh those odds bookies couldn’t have been far from paying out on us
  17. Hahah good work. Not overly proud but saw it coming and lumped on at 25/1 🤣
  18. As of now it’s possible to get 11/4 on Leicester to finish in the playoffs, and 4/1 NOT to be promoted. Both on sky bet. Lump on Foxestalkers. Absolutely unbelievable odds.
  19. We break we have 3 players v their 7. Appalling
  20. Shows everything that’s wrong with Enzo, principles before results. Gutting we’ve got this Poundland Pep in charge
  21. He’s ****ed up royally since Christmas, the league gets attritional, it’s not about reputation or status, it’s about who will step forward and take responsibility. Souttar and Coady in particular should have been fixtures in the team, Coady as captain, yes he is limited but guess what, so is 95% of championship players which is why they are in the pissing championship…. whilst the fact our wingers have been largely stinking for weeks means he needed to find another way to set the team up. So many options in the squad who could have played as a 10 with narrow options either side, but no he persists with his found out easy to counter against style. The guy is a busted flush. Within 12 months he’ll be back to a back office coach and can’t come soon enough. More one dimensional than any coach I can remember stretching back 40 years. Get the fraud gone now, as if not he’ll walk away the minute shit gets real when we lose in the semi finals of the playoffs
  22. Totally get it, 100% - the high-ups are just too out of their depth to act. Reckon we win 2 max of our last 8 and end up 4th, playing the most inform team in the playoffs.
  23. No chance we sack him. With our finances shot to pieces we’ll have to put up with this bilge until we lose in the playoff semi-final, and the Poundland Pep will then walk away, potentially to a job in a top league in Spain or Italy. Hope beyond hope Steve Cooper isn’t in work in the summer as we are desperate for someone who can connect with the fans and get what will be a decimated squad on the front foot.
