  1. Remember when football used to be more "off the cuff"? Not pre planned, predictable or robotic. ****ing fantastic, enjoyable and exciting, wasn't it, huh, just like todays winner!
  2. Arsenal's passing out from the back is ****ing hilarious. I thought they were better than that, they look clueless.
  3. I yearn for the day the PL bubble bursts.
  4. There have been 7 Premier League games so far this season, there has been 4 England/International games in the time. By the next international break we'll have had 11 Premier League games and England/Internationals will have played 6 games. Ridiculous.
  5. Used to hate the international break, pointless and nothing but an inconvenience. Then over recent years my interest in Leicester and football in general waned and whilst still going to matches, I quite enjoyed and really looked forward to the breaks. However, I was quite happily thinking this was the last international break until March(?), then I found out there was another one in November! Which is utterly ridiculous. No wonder teams struggle for form and can't get in any rhythm. Then you have cries about "too many games" and player welfare, players pulling out of the international games, dare I say feigning injuries, speaks volumes about the importance (Or lack of) of the international games.
  6. I think we've been competitive, we've always been in games and we're around the points I expected us to be on at this point. Listen, it's not all rosy under Cooper, questions can be asked and things have got to improve, but I don't quite understand the mass hysteria, pissing and moaning, not when so much has been let go for years!
  7. Whilst it's true and I cannot argue when people throw the "on another day we could have lost, they hit the post, the bar, had X amount of shots". Yet we were instantly shut down and not allowed to talk hypotheticals when I and others said similar this about Rodgers or Enzo (Not so much with Enzo, as I always say I actually enjoyed last season, accepting and understanding what he was doing, where we were and with a better team than most in the league - but did criticise on certain things where I saw fit and fearing what the future could have been). As I keep saying, we could have lost, we could have been hammered in other games, but we haven't, equally we've had chances to win or draw those same games and likewise, we didn't.
  8. Genuinely, what's the difference between that and what we've done for much of our previous 6 PL campaigns?
  9. Didn't give me a great first impression.
  10. Thoughts are with those at this difficult time who perma-predict that we're going to get hammered, every week. I guess the narrative will change to "We could have got hammered", we haven't. And equally we've had a chances ourselves to have changed outcomes, likewise, we havn't. Anyway, was abit boring (Although not in comparison to what we've largely seen in the last 7 years and believe me, i'm truly sorry that's my yardstick) and it wasn't pretty but football doesn't need to be pretty, thought we were good, it was ok. What a player Buonanotte is.
  11. Correct, and he was still calling for fans to get behind the team. Point being made is that maybe it's on the fans to....get behind the team.
  12. Wasn't Maresca calling for it every week?
  13. Like “he” signed Cannon and Coady then proceeded to not play them? (Neither would have been first names on the team sheet last season but you’d have expected them to feature more.)
  14. Was he given a platform or chance last season…. Its like we didn’t have an opportunity get him up to speed, comfortable and settled.
  15. And the stats shown before the game were saying they average 49.1 passes before taking a shot. Laborious. Load of bollocks. Horrible anti football.
  16. This weeks award for laughable "playing out" goes to Peterborough. Keep it up, please! It's fucking hilarious!
  17. It’s shit. I don’t know if it me growing up, caring less, nostalgia, or simply realising as a match going fan were being shafted - but last point aside, regarding the game, on the pitch, for all the skill, talent and fitness in the game, football at the top level is stagnant, boring and quite simply, shite. It’s quite clear I lost a lot of interest during the Puel and then Rodgers era, I’m struggling to get that passion and drive I had before that back. I was thinking/discussing the nostalgia point only the other week in fact and I’m glad I grew up with the football I seen in the 90’s and early 2000’s, if I were a kid now growing up, I don’t think I’d have an interest in or even like football. Its one size fits all, whether it be playing style, identity of teams (hate that phrase or “playing the [insert club name] way” but it’s the only way to describe how it was), similar flat pack stadiums, chants, old style music before kick off, it all just seems generic and Americanized. I’ve said for many years the Premier League is bang average - and we’re part of the problem (and have been for a while). I prefer the lower leagues to be quite honest. I was listening to some people talk about non league the other day and the snobbery astounded me. All that said, see you all down there Saturday….
  18. Poor refereeing is 'destroying the Premier League' say Nottingham Forest. Percy doing a report that Nottingham Forest hierarchy fear VAR is "failing the fans". Why did they, along with Leicester and every other team in the league (Bar Wolves) vote in favour of keeping it then.

  20. Fantastic saves yesterday.
  21. Cooper does seem to blame the ref alot, he does this thing talking about what they did wrong and how it cost us then goes on to say but I don't wanna say too much or make it about the ref. (Well, you just have..) I've seen a few comments by people moaning about this, about him playing the victim card or 'turning us into Forest'.....Our fans do the exact same thing and have done for years, rather blaming the ref than looking at ourselves first. I'd like to think integrity is in play but the cynic in me does say we're gonna be on the end of many dodgy decisions and we have already. Championship officiating is better.
  22. Keep at it Bolton Or learn.
  23. But it's been like this for much (not all, but much) of the last 9 years, why is everyone pissing and moaning now.
  24. Bit late about this but, Watford Great goal conceded, playing out, keep loading the gun, keep shooting yourself in the foot. ****ing idiots (Not just Watford). Sorry @Super_horns but think you'd agree.
