  2. Ring Doorbells: Is there anyway of turning motion notifications off when you are approaching? I don't need to be notified i'm outside! Didn't know if there was a setting where it realised (via your phone) its you that is in proximity of the doorbell.
  3. We need our therapy.
  4. Had to laugh when the commentator said "This is Leicester's last chance, they have to get it forward". Sideways and backwards ensued. #TrustTheProcess
  5. "We can't afford to" Remember that old chestnut, that's what landed us where we are.

  16. Substitute (association football) - Wikipedia In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. The number of substitutes has risen over time as well as the number of reserve players allowed to be nominated. It is now common for games to allow a maximum of 5 substitutions; some competitions allow for an additional substitution when playing extra time.[1] A maximum of 3 "substitution opportunities" are provided to a side during normal time, and an extra opportunity during extra time. Substitutions can be made during half-time breaks during normal and extra time, and full time breaks (before the start of extra time), but do not count as substitution opportunities.[2] There is also a provision of an additional substitution beyond whatever limits the match is being played under to be used specifically for a player who has sustained a concussion.[3]
  17. Not great. Did I see that stat that's the most shots Bristol City have had in a 1st half all season? Isn't the way we play supposed to limit their chances, shots and play?
  18. Doesn't wanna manage at the top level juggling League, Domestic Cups and Champions League/European Competitions either in that case then? As for the rest, he'd have a point.
  19. Couldn't find a thread I found suitable to say this so why not here I guess? I used to despise International Breaks or the end of the season. **No football! Oh No! What am I going to do?!** In the last few years I fucking love them. Cathartic.
  20. Fans? Travel? Football's a TV drama isn't it? They're doing everyone a favour bringing it to your living room. "And it's live!"
  21. Yeah I was going to say about some of them having no embarrassment as it already was. Some of them had no shame.
  22. I get we offered the contracts, the players aren’t going to turn them down and why should they, that is all by the by, (let me stress it’s very much the clubs fault for offering them what they were earning, not that players) but I hope and wonder if the squad of 22/23 are even more embarrassed at (collectively) being the 7th highest earners (and 3rd or 4th highest paid manager?) in the Premier League whilst serving up that shit show last season and getting relegated.
  23. Talk of changes to rules being as soon as this summer which is why i'm asking the question are there only going to be Everton, Forest and us in breach of the current rules and everyone else escapes come the rule change in the summer? In which case is that why we're fighting the charges so viscerally and stalling any challenge? It could be argued we're under investigation and having charges hanging over us under the 'old rules' but so do Man City, punish them, dare you.
  24. Season? We could have our own series.
  25. I hate victim mentality too, but I don't think many are showing that. What i'm gauging is most people seem to be of the opinion holding their hands up and say the club have done wrong, they (the club) and/or someone needs to be accountable. And the club rightly or wrongly seems to be hell bent on fighting it. Where I am is, I think we have broke rules and are guilty, to some extent, the club is serious need of a root and branch reform - they have had numerous repeated failures within a short space of time becoming all the more regular, their internal investigation I can only assume was a series of backslapping and self admiration. However, there are other clubs that have done a lot worse in comparison to what we're being alleged, two wrongs don't make a right and it's no excuse for us to plead our innocence, but I am here for the club fighting it in terms of lets have some fair punishment across the board with transparency as opposed to them literally making the rules up as they go along. Fair enough our wage bill was the 7th highest in the Premier League but we've generally bought on a budget and sold for high values, we were thought at one time to be the "model club/business", I don't see many clubs going a summer not buying anyone until they make a high sale as we did in 22/23 - not that even a multitude of signings would have saved us under that stewardship, how we've supposedly failed so much more that other clubs is beyond me. For those reasons i'm fairly relaxed many other will fail, many others will, eventually, be punished, but why we're amongst the first in the dock I cannot fathom, what then concerns me is the talk of rules changing in the summer. So only a few clubs will be punished now then the rules change and other get away? Nah. Ultimately if Man City can prolong their cases using lawyers, then why can't we. As I said in the Atmosphere thread last night, I don't wanna see anyone pissing and whining victim mentality like Everton fans, I don't wanna see any "woe is me", "they're out to get us", "they hate us" attitudes and I certainly don't want to see any of those pathetic pink "Corrupt" signs, I agree, it is corrupt, it's a closed shop and anything to protect the establishment - Doesn't mean the pink signs are pathetic though, but I do wanna see a siege mentality from here on in, I wanna see us go back to our pre 2017 (circa) "No Fucks Given" attitude, a "Fuck You" attitude to anyone in our way, very different and not to be construed in any way as a victim mentality.
