D'ya know what, if not going up drains the swamp, i'm kind of all for it. Gets rid of a nonsense style, get rid of personnel. We all know financially we need to go up but if there is still a club and there is trade off to be had i'd accept that I think. Unfortunately I don't think anything would change, we're ****ed either way and I include financially.
  2. Leicester, Leicester are falling apart, again!
  3. I got 2/1 on Plymouth or Draw at half time. Ridiculous.
  4. I've stuck up for Enzo but if it "his way" or he leaves then theres the door mate, no ones stopping you.
  5. "I told you so" Fair ****s mate fair ****s.
  6. Humiliating.
  7. “Plenty of the ball” does not mean we’ve played well. Stop being brainwashed.
  8. Lee Hendrie was like a parrot then. i was saying how we have to score the “perfect” goal and he pretty much repeated me.
  9. Unpopular opinion but I don’t feel comfortable with Hermansen at all. We’ve not seen enough of Stolarcyzk to say any other but what I have seen I’ve felt more comfortable.
  10. Use your ****ing arms next time Mads. I know there’s this idea keepers have to use their feet nowadays but as a keep you can also use your arms and hands!
  11. He has the gawl to moan about scheduling and then name almost the same team.
  12. I’ll be honest I don’t know what we did wrong in 13/14(?). I vaguely remember something about a fine but I’m not sure what we actually did wrong, think I must have had my head in the sand. BUT, if the EFL had their house in order wouldn’t you think they’d of had a point deduction or punishment of some kind waiting for us on relegation? I fully expect this to be the case of were promoted this season and get relegated again.
  13. I’ve actually got a big buzz of it. (As sad as that is) I’m fancying a big win (finally) and a big **** you to the EFL. There has been a lot made of “Are these threats a reason why our form has dropped off”. If that is truly the case (which I don’t think it was personally), well there’s your team talk and buzz. Get out there!!
  14. As i've said throughout the authorities (PL and EFL) are literally making it up as the go along. This is confirmed by not even knowing their own rules or not having rules in place. Unprepared.
  15. Leicester City, making the EFL look silly since 2002.
  16. I'll be totally honest with hindsight Puel actually went up in my estimation with the work he did off the field, despite what we saw on the field being awful. Bit different with Rodgers, perhaps because its more recent and still sore, maybe in time i'll mellow with my opinions but I struggle to give him any credit, none whatsoever, yes we had successive years of European qualification and an FA Cup but hand on heart, I didn't enjoy any of it, not how we played. We had 2 good half seasons under Rodgers, that's as much credit as I can give him but I didn't enjoy the football, it stunk the place out and then got even worse! Whether that makes me sound spoilt, entitled, I'm not really bothered, I could not stand the football, I would be lying if I said otherwise, I can only be honest. This style is something the club clearly wants for some unbeknown reason and if my interest in football is to continue I've come to realise I need to make compromises somewhere, out of Puel, Rodgers and Enzo, Enzo's football has been the most enjoyable imo - I'll caveat it by saying Enzo's football is far from enthralling and the bar isn't set very high because I couldn't really say that at any point throughout Puel or Rodgers' tenures. I think it's a case of there is a reason for playing the way we have on a whole this season, what I will say is there will be no reason whatsoever for us to play this way next season should we go up, that's where Enzo will need to change as he does at this point in the season, unfortunately he won't.
  17. I get opinions change like the wind and there is context but there hasn't been this much criticism of style for the previous 7 years under Puel or Rodgers not so unanimously, i'm seeing people who were fully behind it, supported and embraced it now questioning and slagging it off. I do think people are waking up and seeing it for what it is. As I said, personally, this is the best version of it that we've seen compared to what we saw under Puel or Rodgers, that still doesn't mean i'm an advocate of it in any way though.
  18. Yet excuses are made for scheduling. Use your squad!!! The squad might not be as good as the starting 11, but the squad would walk into most other teams starting 11's in this league, they're more than good adequate to be used and rotated. In fairness am I right in saying Souttar is injured? But he's not been injured all season! If it's a case of those players don't suit your style or philosophy then stop thinking it's beneath you to alter or change tact to get the best out of them. Don't bemoan your players are being ran into the ground when there are options on the table, options that are chosen not to be used. We can moan about players sitting on contracts and not moving on but this club gives those contracts out then equally ruins players and their careers.
  19. Purely going off of this seasons accounts Brighton seem to have bucked the trend. You can only assume this will change dramatically in the years to come, one would assume it'll be virtually impossible to sustain, but they do seem quite fluid in how their model works, always looking for opportunities to streamline extra incomes from multiple avenues, quite transparent in their business and their senior figures will talk openly - of course if things start going south we might see less of that transparency and openness to talk publicly. Once upon a time we looked like a good 'model', then we gave a certain manager the keys to the club.
  20. Thing is, yes we've been spending a ridiculous amount of wages and it's indefensible, sickening and disgusting, however (I'm going to defend it) regarding the EFL... We were a Premier League team, our place in the 'food chain' was around 7th or above (I say 7th because I believe we had the 7th highest wage bill in the PL) in the Premier League, challenging and competing for European places, negligence on and off the field resulted in relegation all in the space of one season (We were honking the place out for many years before that but even so). We made big sales, got rid of some high earners. What else were we supposed to do? Get rid of everyone? The only thing I would criticise is why on earth sign Coady and Cannon, we've not played them, money we didn't need to spend, wages we didn't need to spend.
  21. Moaning about scheduling now. We played Tuesday, then on Friday. Ipswich played Wednesday, then on Saturday. What’s the difference? Use your squad! Both of our games are away but I’m sure they’ll be traveling in luxury, in advance, staying in a very nice hotel. Ipswich’s games are both at home but if we’re splitting hairs Ipswich actually have a quicker turnaround, less time between games. I appreciate Leeds played Tuesday and have an extra day but I’m sure they have a similar scenario coming up too.
  22. We can or we can speak about how they didn't get "lucky" instead? Your choice. Speaking of Ipswich's luck do we count ourselves lucky that shot they had which beat the keeper, smashes of the post, across the goal line and then got cleared
  23. Well we can view this midweek two ways. We've had a huge slice of luck due to other results, somehow we're still top, with a game in hand. Or We've missed a huge opportunity to restore a lead at the top.
  24. Wouldn't it be nice if another team could salty about us getting late deflected goals. Chance would be a fine thing and there lies the problem.
