LCFC vs Spurs - Match Thread - 11th Feb 2023

Goaaaaaaaaaal! -
We were massively under the cosh and it looked like conceding a goal was only a formality. Something had to change and today it worked well. Thought it was interesting seeing the reaction between Cags and Rodgers when he came on. It could be a good way to reintegrate him back into the team for the rest of the season. Predictability is our biggest weakness, the strength in depth we now have allows us to use subs effectively and change things up to match, beat, compensate for the opposition.

Is the Prince of Punjab open? -
I tend to agree, new owners would pull the trigger and bring in their own. Can't see any other logical reason for putting up with this
-
**** no!
-
Some people need to have a beer and calm down 🤣
-
Top the sly old viper has been laying £m's on the betting exchanges that Rodgers will get sacked next and with the winnings the rebuild can now begin
-
Who are morons? Top and his family?

FFS... Take off your tin hat for once, visa issues
-
Nah, not having this. The board has over seen the greatest period in our history and laid the ground work to a sustainable future - for me they have plenty of credit in the bank.
-
****ing hell Nacho, no wonder you don't play often
-
Looks good, reckon they are fired up.... 3-0 win Yes, can't see why you would ever want to see us lose other than to validate your own echo chamber
-
Great post. On the Peter Crouch podcast he talked about the captain role being more admin led than anything - collecting fines, driving standards, helping young players. Based on that, I can see why he would be considered a good role model in the dressing room and should get the position/respect as a result

Jesus, some people are full on tin foil lunatics looking for an angle on absolutely everything.
-
Agree, hope we start with a team more like the one we ended with...
-
Except when he came on yesterday and played with... Daka Don't let facts get in the way of your confirmation bias

Ffs don't even have time to dream we might come back at any point

Oh, you mean those under CEO of the year at the 2021 football business awards - Susan Whelen? Seriously, some people need to grow up and relax. Like it or not, this is a business, things change and you have to adapt and I'm sure we will. I have more faith in her keeping us solvent and competitive than a bunch of man children off the internet pissing their pants at every tweet about the club -

You weird person... Presume you are out fishing because out of the things that went on today that is the least of our problems -
Thought he was decent and commanded the box well at set pieces which made a nice change. Noticed he was absolutely yelling at the defenders just before the second goal... He'll be doing that a lot based on today
-
Good first half, controlled the ball and look threatening when they play through. Nice to score from a corner rather than concede as well. Some of you lot need to cheer up, could be Man Utd
-
Meh - Forest are starting at the bottom of the pile and need to do something to try and stay in the Prem. We are established with players commanding better salaries if buying for free so despite our collective pessimism we are going to hit mid table which is all they would aim for at best. The difference is we will make it, they have 50% chance at best

Didn't Pearson say he'd be the one to pick a fight with himself? Clearly troubled but epic for us as a player. Wish him all the best and hope he finds some peace
