Im referring to at least calling incidents as they are. Stating with certainty that the defender got the ball on the Daka pen incident. Criticising the ref for us getting a free kick for a "soft" push and then an almost identical push the other way was "probably a foul". You can show passion for your club without having blind spots to incidents which happen on the pitch.

Seeing the replay that should be a pen, not stonewall but would expect that given more times than not.

I like the Max Lowe shout, he's a solid player in a position we need. I can't see Pierce Charles staying at L1 level, not just because he had a worldie against us, he is consistently very good. Only knock on him is he's small for a goalkeeper, but he's arguably a top end champ/low end prem goalkeeper.

Dont think we've been that bad relative to other performances recently, it's just the absolute inability/desire to do the absolute basics of football that costs us time and again.

"Good away points" mean nothing with this lot. We've performed far better away from home recently.

Missed opportunity. Main positive is that is as solid we have looked defensively all season, but sadly our striking options are just utterly dismal.

He is primarily at fault. Im sitting in line with him, he could easily have just dealt with the long ball but instead hesitated and lost his step on the forward. He is premier league level on the ball but his defensive awareness needs massive work.

In a vacuum 1-1 at Ipswich is a decent result. But there is very little to be positive about. The last ditch defending was brave at times, but we were not solid as a team unit, there was no element of controlling Ipswich out of possession, and the absolute panic and lack of composure was laughable at times. We might improve from the very low bar, but we are not going to suddenly become a cohesive defensive unit. To survive, we need some defined attacking patterns of play and to actually try and create some chances. Jordan James should be first name on the teamsheet for the rest of the season, and not shoehorned out wide.

You cant just spend 45 minutes camped on the edge of the box hacking the ball to nobody. Somebody has to show a bit of composure and at least try to take the sting out of the game. We just invite the onslaught.

These are the times you need leaders or a couple of players to demonstrate a bit of composure to slow it down. We have neither.
