I mean, it's not stupid to sack him. He might not be the root of all issues here, but he's the manager and so sets the tactics and the game plans. Under him, we rarely created anything (much as we rightly malign Daka and Ayew, they don't ever really get chances to miss) and barely broke into a light jog.

option a) the points deduction is known and isn't severe (in the 3-5 point range), so a run of form puts us right in the mixer. option b) he's completely delusional sad thing is, I don't think you can rule out option b that easily.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
The Doctor replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
maresca had had a year as the assistant to one of the best managers in football history. King has had a year as assistant to two of the worst managers in our history. They're not the same -
Marti's gone, what happens to January recruitment?

Realistic Managerial Replacements

they're arguably too arrogant to care about our responses though. -
only if he's in with a Mowbray or Pearson, experienced mentor with a phased transition to him being the manager. otherwise, What's he done as a coach to justify? it can't be jobs for the boys but I don't hate an up and coming coach with an experienced mentor as a long term plan

make it a double sacking please, passmoor doesn't have a clue

Pressure is really getting to them 😂

derby away or Ipswich at home? -
breaking games down by time, the only time period in which we have a positive goal difference is the last 15 minutes (11 scored, 5 conceded). The only two game states in which we have a positive goal difference (i.e. most likely to score the next goal) is when level (19 scored, 18 conceded), and when 2 goals or more behind (6 scored, 5 conceded). He can't get us going until the very last portion of the game, and mostly when the games already gone. Genuinely think you could pick a random fan at the gates each week and get better performances

ideally we'd look at an up and coming like Skubala or Challinor more realistically look to someone like Hassenhutl who it will actually be: Russell Martin

can't wait, my weekend will be ruined two and a half hours earlier putting together a team that doesn't immediately make me want to claw my eyes out Vietes (Jakub needs dropping and Begovic hasn't looked convincing either) Ricardo Nelson Okoli Aluko Skipp Bobby Reid Page Fatawu Mavididi Monga **** off the double pivot and Ayew, Skipp sits as a six, page and Reid as dual eights told to support Fatawu and Monga with underlapping runs. Mav through the centre to stretch the defenders (need a mobile striker to stretch the lines, and his touch is at least better than dakas)

sheff Weds on 7th April, although even though they're looking like losing bannan and being stuck with just the academy, I'd still expect a 1-0 defeat there. all changes if we get rid of Marti and get in a manager who can motivate players and get them working hard, but assuming he's in charge I can't see a win coming before the end of the season
-
9 times: today, Derby at home, QPR away, Sheff Utd home twice, hull away, WBA away, Oxford away, Preston away in comparison we've scored first 10 six times fatawu v Birmingham, Reid @ Derby, Reid v Ipswich, James v Watford, Reid v Derby, James @ cov

something something punishing ambition
-
half time he sprinted away, I was more bothered by the reactions round me at full time
-
and you sir, are you waiting to receive my limp attack?
-
legs are completely gone and his positional sense isn't good enough to compensate. Don't necessarily need the legs if you have the positioning to never need to sprint (see Maldini) but Ricky has always been one needing athleticism and that's gone
-
the difference between being title winners and being top 6. But make no mistakes, this squad has the technical ability to blow most of this division away if the tactical set up wasn't designed to nullify our biggest threats and if there was actual effort. That falls on the manager
-
the modern day equivalent of Matt Heath. Just unremarkably shit at everything
-
Vestegaard was fine two years ago, like I said - Enzo got more than the sum of its parts, but Cifuentes is making it worse. This squad is comfortably playoffs if it actually tried and was coached by a manager with a tactical plan
-
Stolarcyk Ricardo/Choudhury Vestegaard Winks Fatawu Mavididi Daka all played a reasonable amount (5+ games) under Enzo last time out in this division. Faes before he was bombed out. the losses are Justin, KDH, Ndidi and Vardy. Daka did deputise alright in the middle third. James is a perfectly reasonable KDH replacement as that box to box midfielder. Skipp instead of Ndidi. Left back is obviously an issue, as is that Daka is not the goalscorer Vardy was, but there's the spine of the team there, but they've either thrown their toys out (winks) or are getting exposed by abysmal management. Enzo made this squad look better than it was, Cifuentes making it look far worse

went off on a rant about how they're saying the same thing every week and not doing it, that it's just taking the piss
-
that'll be him done on RL, club will be cutting off access for questioning them
