its not a technical ability (I.e. ability relating to the ball) issue. It is a serious detriment but I don't think anyone is arguing otherwise
-
it's never been his technical ability in question, but his work ethic and general awareness?

almost like that's the point

credit where credits due, he only let it burn long enough to cause serious structural damage.

technically but there's what it literally says and the intended meaning. It's like the bloke who was arrested recently for a banner that said "I support Palestine. Action needed now". By the strictest interpretation he didn't offer support to a proscribed organization because of that full stop (and the biggest grammar pedants in the world will die on that hill), but the meaning of his sign was very obvious, hence him being arrested, same as the meaning of that palace banner. it's why "we're saying he didn't do those things" isnt the slamdunk defence people are suggesting -

what exactly are you expecting them to state? their argument is that he's never done anything of those things and there's no evidence for them (a lie, but they're not going to admit to his wrongdoings), at which point it would come to him being accused because he's from a country with a history of corruption and match fixing. if you genuinely believe he's innocent and being smeared, or want to pretend he is (either of which Forest absolutely do), the only conclusion is xenophobia. It's throw shit at the wall and hope it sticks, because everything he's accused of is well documented, but it's internally consistent. -

weirdly, this is a big "do you have any idea how little that narrows it down" post. There were like 6 of those family members getting proper touchy.

nah, watching people take penalties and putting together an idea of where they're likely to put it has always been a thing. Going from it being in a coaches notepad to taped to a water bottle is nothing major. -

that is a weakness in his game, it's a weakness in most young keepers mind, because it very much is something you develop as you gain experience. his reflexes and distribution will take him far assuming he gets over the injury he had last season. -

hes the same height as Kasper Schmeichel and he was absolutely top class. Height is wildly overrated as far as importance for a goalkeeper goes, a good reading of the flight of a ball will do more for you in claiming crosses than height will -

They're confident, we're playing like we've been buying Ket off Nathan Jones. 2-0 defeat. -

Wins a win but it was pretty dire and there's not much hope for the season looking at it. Ayew offers absolutely nothing if the ref doesn't fancy his "any physical contact is a foul" routine - the amount of times he'll hold on to the ball rather than release it to get an attack going, then throw himself down and complain it's not a free kick, I despair. Need rid of him and a striker who doesn't have the same skillset as picking the first bloke through the turnstiles each week. Skipp however was even worse, I cannot be doing with him playing week in week out. Needs arresting under the trades description act. -
this ref not know what a foul is? You'd see less contact down the tigers than on Ayew there.
-
to who really? Daka is running but there's two defenders in between, and there's no one else up in support.
-
what on earth are we doing? Trying to chuck this away.

nothing in that, he ducks in towards dakas feet.

Ricardo doesn't have the athleticism to play on the wing after this many injuries, lets be honest.

Reasonable subs tbf, Monga hasn't been hugely involved today.
