On the pitch was defo De Laet, Waggy, Simmo, Nuge, Conrad. Schlupp, Sharkey, Big Wes, Dyer, Benny Hamer, Drinky, Shinji, St Ledger, Wasilevski, Liam Moore. Winksy was there too in his casuals.

Definitely more outrage was always going to be directed at a potential £8m spent on a declining 33 year old squad player than it was on a potential £7.5m for a 24 year old player that was visibly unlucky not to start many more games under Enzo.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

It’s absolutely true. Monga’s game time on the right has only increased since RVN hasn’t been able to pick Reid in the squad due to his timely injury. -
I liked Yunus and thought he was a bit harshly treated by Enzo, perhaps because he preferred to be more central as a 10 rather than the 8 that Enzo preferred. I thought he would’ve been one of those players who could step up and shine in the more technical premier league. I’d have him over this season signings Ayew, Reid and Skipp every day of the week.

Monga’s only getting game time because one of Ruud’s favourites - ‘The Ghost of Bobby de Cordova Reid™️’ is injured and thus not able to haunt the right wing -
Wouldn’t it be great if all international kits were fitted actually with capes? Tbf fashionista Chilly wears some rascal outfits, I wouldn’t be surprised if he owned a feminine cape or two now he’s a London boy,

Assistant referees can still flag straight away if they are confident the player was offside.

David Fox, Loans Manager set to leave Leicester to join Plymouth

I’m dismayed that Nick had absolutely no input into the story below. wtf do we pay our licence fee for?? -
Remind me what those decent games were then. Maybe a couple of decent moments but games?? I don’t remember anything bar a couple of accidental shanked assists and a couple of tap ins.
-
Absolutely no way BDCR has earned a 4. I haven’t looked at the rest of your scores properly but 4-10 for someone who bar a couple of tap ins has contributed little in attack or defence throughout the season is remarkable.

Can you blame Foxy leaving? Someone stole his favourite toilet at Seagrave ffs. This club is broken. 😡 -
They could sell full Lonsdale kits with pairs of slim soled electric blue Velcro lonsdales with the LCFC badge. 🥰

The Best And Worst Goalkeepers We've Had.
funkyrobot replied to Parafox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’ve been going since the Gordon Milne era and in my lifetime I can honestly say the best keeper is Kasper Schmeichel and the worst keeper is his former teammate Danny Ward. -

Just shows how many of those empty seats are season ticket holders as they get automatically included. That’s should worry Top and Rudders (but it probably won’t.) Season ticket holders are guaranteed income both in ticket sales and spend at the ground and won’t be adequately replaced by occasional visitors at Championship level, particularly against the less glamorous teams (e.g. Leyton Orient might get promoted via L1 playoffs.) -

The ravens can never leave the Tower of London. Same rules should apply to bellend and the KP. This could be end of days. Oh the humanity! -
A rampaging Ayew sprinting up and down that right wing will be a sight to behold. There’s absolutely no way Williams, even if he’s backed up by Hudson-Odoi can cope with Jordan’s lightning pace and directness. 🥴

The end of an era. The end of an aura. Bellend Sebastian, say it ain’t so? 😱 -

Surely that assessment wasn’t based on today’s match? Yeah the team have been abysmal this season but today I would say only K-Mac was disappointing (but he wasn’t dreadful.) I thought the rest of them were very good. ELK was outstanding. -
Have you got any stats to back any of this up or are these facts opinion based? BTW Your paragraph that I’ve highlighted in bold is certainly not true for me!! I was football obsessed as a kid and I’m exactly the same now. I wish it did mean less now but it doesn’t.

He was one of the worst players on the pitch on Saturday. Very lucky not to be hooked at half time alongside Bouba. I think he’s been generally poor this season but he was certainly a vital player during our European campaigns and was for a good period a statistical freak when it came to winning the ball and breaking up play. Miles better than almost anyone else in the prem. A combination of injuries and time have reduced his ability and football has changed - It’s no longer good enough just to be a destroyer. I think it’s time for him to move on and I’ll certainly remember the original Ndidi who filled the giant whole Kante left so valiantly for a long time.
-
ELK is a good player with the potential to be a great player but for me he’s not done enough to earn a move to any prem club. I personally think he’ll be with us next season - anyone splashing out the £25m- £35m we’d expect would be taking a risk based on this season.

Thanks mate, appreciate a response that gets what I’m saying rather than some responses that have got loads of likes despite falsely claiming I wanted him to fail when nothing could be further from the truth. I think Alves is an absolute baller and I hope he can achieve the heights that we all expected of him before that assault at Wolves.
-
Why couldn’t he have got experience here with us?? He’s better than Reid.
-
If he’d been given game time here he could’ve. My point has been throughout this thread that Alves should’ve been given way more opportunities here this season. It’s another failing of our club that whilst we are stinking the league up, and rinse and repeating non performances from Reid we have to send a creative player out to the disaster that is Cardiff City to get some experience. And what has he got from it? Dropped from the starting 11 and a relegation to League 1 on his record.
