I’m at the point that I’ll take anyone over Ruud. I share a lot of that concerns about Martin that most of you do but if he did get the job I’d support him - there’s no point not giving him a chance - even Cooper was given every opportunity by the fans.I actually appreciated Enzo ball and Martin is closer to that. I’d rather have Martin to Dyche but I’d get behind him too despite the hoofball. Ruud has to go. He showed minimal respect to the fans after games and made crazy selections the whole time he was here, culminating in VK on the wing yesterday whilst Monga watched from the bench.

Season ticket at Citeh and when they aren’t playing will be at Anstey Nomads who were far more enjoyable to watch than the foxes this season!

VK will be made up with a rating over 3 for his wing play. Playing out of position he’s managed to get a higher score than the usual 2/10 he gets playing at fullback. He must’ve got tips from the injured but previously consistent 3/10 winger Bobby Reid. -
I was the poster and I didn’t say there wasn’t an example. I was saying I preferred a fit Ricardo. I said that generally this season JJ’s been poor in defence (he’s not the only one) and in supporting the attack and I think that’s a reasonable comment even considering the Vardy assist, the Arsenal game and the slight upturn in performances recently (after relegation was confirmed and the pressure was off.)

The relegation aspect of the league which is absolutely vital to the health of the pyramid system was the least competitive premier league season I can ever remember. Yes the three teams were shit but by such a distance as to be a massive concern. Look at the goal differences - Leicester -47, Ipswich -46, Southampton -60. The fourth worst goal difference was West Ham on -16. There’s an absolute chasm.

You don’t base an assessment of a player’s season on one assist in a dead rubber against a club that has obtained 12 points all season right? Next thing you’ll be telling me Patson Daka has had a fantastic season because of the goal he scored against WHam.😂

Playing VK on the wing today shows how out of his depth RVN is. It’s almost disrespectful to the club and the fans it’s that bad a decision. With that in mind a text message sacking would be absolutely reasonable. -
There’s still a noticeable improvement when Ricardo plays at right back instead of JJ. He’s stuck with it tbf but he’s still had a season to forget - he’s looked weak in defence and not really confident to help in attack.

For the blind faith you always showed in old 50p boots you should receive a percentage of his wage.

Masterclass from Patson -
That’s ELK gone then.

Can’t believe the amount of Schlupp haters. In a transfer embargo situation he’s a solid free transfer.

I remember going to the toilet at half time and being amazed to see an old guy with a face mask on. Little did I know that for a time they’d be an additional fashion garment often worn pointlessly by people under the nose. Now worn predominantly by lads driving illegal electric bikes at 40mph on pavements.

Ruud ignored Buonanotte, Mavididi, McAteer whilst obsessing with Ayew and BDCR as non functioning wingers. He became obsessed with a midfield with absolutely no creativity in Bouba and Ndidi who also lacked the collective discipline and consistent effort to be a solid defensive pairing and bomb squaded the only creative centre mid in our squad (Winks) and gave up on Hamza despite his ability to play Ricardo’s inverted role amongst a number of other defensive/midfield positions. For those bizarre and self destructive prolonged actions he deserves to go. Sorry Ruud. -
Step forward Danny Ward….

Ruud has so blotted his copybook with that ongoing losing run featuring no goals and no creative players on the pitch that even Martin feels like a step in the right direction. Maybe he’s learned from his Saints nightmare. Playing risk ball from the keeper requires top level players and as we’ve all seen, as soon as you try doing that against better, fitter, cleverer footballers you quickly get found out - as Ramsdale, Bednarek et al discovered. If he does get appointed we won’t fully find out until the season starts but one thing’s for sure, if he selects BDCR on the wing then we know we have truly jumped out of the furnace and into the fire.
-
Winks is technically our best and most creative midfielder whether many on here like it or not. Ruud found a way to not play him as he found a way to not play our other creative senior players Mavididi, Buonanotte and Kasey McAteer when we still had a chance to stay up. RVN’s treatment of these key players whilst obsessing over the none contributory PL experience of BDCR and a midfield of no creativity in Bouba and Ndidi is probably why he’ll lose his job without too much to complain about.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

Taking the fine and points deduction this season and starting fresh next season presumably with certain high earning players also moved on from the squad and a significant change at boardroom level makes every sense…. …..so we know it won’t happen. Instead we’ll fight it into next season. Receive a fine and points deduction then, keep the same overpaid failures in the squad and give Rudders a wage rise, a new tracksuit and more responsibility. -
Strangely enough only a selection of the ex players were read out not all of them that were on the pitch tbf. I put that down to our new announcer not knowing who everyone was. He continued to call Wes ‘Wesley’ throughout his interview earlier even though he was always Wes (or Big Wes) at Leicester so I’m guessing he hadn’t done enough research to identify Nathan Dyer et al.

Same here. Judging by the comments there should’ve been an option for Futacs, he clearly had some fans at the time 😂

Still annoyed at the commemorative Vardy programmes being sold out 1 hour before kick off and then seeing blokes old enough to know better with stacks of multiple copies that they’ve been allowed to buy. My 9 year old missed out. It should’ve been one per ticket. There’s none online left with the club and there are loads on eBay for 10x the price ffs.

Benalouane was on the pitch too. Forgot him. I know James and Kasper were there too but I didn’t see them on the pitch

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Tbf he was good today, playing more centrally behind a main striker seems to be his best role.
