  1. Can you send this to Cooper and cc Top? Cooper doesn’t appear to have half your tactical nous or even the tactical nous of us fans going crazy in the stands. He’s making such obviously bad, illogical decisions that it feels like he’s doing it on purpose. Is he actually Agent Cooper from the Notts Forest Secret Service I wonder? 🤔
  2. No slower than Coady and much better on the ball and yet Vesty doesn’t even get a place on the bench.
  3. For me, the absolutely baffling decision was to not put a pace merchant like Fatawu against Young. I would’ve started him but ffs Cooper, at least give the lad 30 minutes. Ayew didn’t offer too much and certainly no pace. Young is 40 next year. Fatawu would’ve had a field day, Cooper continues to make baffling decisions like this. Firstly it was BDCR and then Ayew selected ahead of Mavididi, then the shunning of our best player in Ricardo who has had zero PL minutes despite buckets of goals coming down Justin’s side. Then there was the bizarre self defeating ultra defensive subs against Palace and then today, he doesn’t put pace against Young, expects El Khanouss to be ready to start, drops Skippy and takes our best attacking outlet off with 4 minutes left of the game. Even the bomb squading of Verstergaard makes no sense to me. Very worrying from Cooper. He’s like a Swiss Army knife of a manager. One without any one single function (or game plan) but who likes to have plenty of options to react to a game plan of an opponent. Unfortunately he appears to be a cheap knock off Swiss Army knife from DHGate that’s blunt and not fit for purpose.
  4. Not after 5 league games he didn’t.
  5. Not sure how the club go about sacking the fan base tbh. 😂
  6. He obviously thinks JJ is the better option (I disagree) but zero minutes is really poor people management of a player of Ricardo!s stature and ability.
  7. JJ has struggled in every match this season with lots of goals coming from his side. Ricardo getting zero minutes in the league despite this surely points to a breakdown in the relationship. Cooper perhaps using Ricardo as an old school manager might do to demonstrate that he’s in charge by shithousing a senior pro. Bizarre omission by Cooper whatever the reason.
  8. Tbf I don’t think any fan sat in the dugout would’ve brought Hamza AND Coady on today when we were winning 2-1. You don’t need a top level FA coaching licence or years of management experience to see that bringing on two defenders, defending very deep and inviting a team on, whilst showing no intention to attack is likely to end badly.
  9. There doesn’t need to be a deflection.
  10. You’ve said not really and then contradicted yourself. The fact is you can be offside from a pass that goes backwards.
  11. The ball can go backwards and not touch a defender and still mean a player is offside. As long as it fits the criteria of offside when the ball is played. - ie the ball is received by a player who is ahead of the player that’s passed it to him and ahead of the last line of defence when the ball leaves the passers foot, then they are offside whether the ball is passed in a forwards, sideways or backwards direction.
  12. Ball doesn’t have to go forward to be offside. You can be offside from a backwards pass.
  13. Shocking game management in the last 20 minutes from Cooper. We let Palace have the ball in our final 3rd for virtually all of the remaining time. By going with two negative subs and not bringing on an attacking outlet after they swamped the game with forwards off the bench, it allowed their extra forwards to do what they do best without them having to worry about us. Coady was embarrassing for their equaliser, real schoolboy stuff.
  14. Bit harsh he didn’t do anything wrong under Sven, he didn’t really play! Sven dropped him out of the squad with barely any game time as he brought in Kasper.
  15. The tackle wasn’t from behind, it was from the side.
  16. You think that was a free kick and a booking? You think the ref wasn’t wrong for getting in the way of the game 3 times? That he ignored Digne’s multiple fouls? That he allowed Villa to dictate the pace of the game through time wasting, tactical fouls and injuries? Highlights can’t change the fact the ref was poor.
  17. Left his man Onana for the free kick who then scored. Didn’t notice that at the time. Basic stuff Wout. Stay with your man rather than walking back into your area and getting a fabulous on-pitch view of the goal!
  18. So the tv showed Skipp fouled and deserved to be booked? That Digne didn’t deserve to be booked for continual fouls? That the ref getting in the way of the game 3 times was good stuff? That his ignorance to the constant time wasting and tactical fouls/injuries was fine? He was very poor and I’m surprised that people on here stick up for him. He wasn’t the only factor that meant we lost - an overly defensive set up, an inability to stop Tielemans and silly mistakes cost us but the ref certainly didn’t help us at any point.
  19. Surprised with how many Coote fanboys are on here sticking up for him. He made poor game changing decisions including that free kick. He also interfered with play 3 times by letting the ball touch him. He let Digne get away with multiple fouls without booking him. He missed a penalty against Vardy. He allowed Villa to time waste throughout. He lost control of the game. He was shocking.
  20. Edouard can’t play against Palace tbf.
  21. It wasn’t from behind. The referee let similar tackles go later. It was a fair tackle from the side which is why so many Leicester players surrounded the ref. Very poor decision by a very poor, highly paid referee.
  22. Free kick against Skipp when he won the ball wasn't a free kick and they scored from it for a start.
  23. Although there’s not actually been much evidence of that fabled Daka pace tbh.
  24. Ricky and Mavididi didn’t let me down. Hopefully they’ll be in the starting 11 v Villa. Creativity, the ability to take a player on. It’s what we want to see Coops. Try to win rather than try not to lose.
  25. Yeh I thought Thomas had a good game.
