That was my point mate

Glad you know his thoughts. Doesn’t make much sense though as usually people use poll results to demonstrate a general consensus rather than knowingly not as you appear to suggest. Anyway who cares.
-
What did he mean then? My understanding was he suggested the poll reflected the opinion of Leicester fans at the time, otherwise why mention it?
-
You do realise that the VAST majority of Leicester fans wouldn’t even be aware of this Enzo out poll don’t you? Social media and reality are two very different things.
-
Fact is, he’s turned Brighton down and is staying at Ipswich. This will be his third season with the Tractor Boys. Maresca has given us one. I’d say committing to 3 years is loyal. Staying just for 1 season is definitely not.
-
Suddenly Soutts might be back in the picture at Leicester now Enzo is taking the step down to Chelsea. Enzo didn’t rate him but he’s so good in the air in both boxes and he’s a better ball player than he gets credit for.
-
McKenna has more sense than go to Chelsea. NO manager is a long term success there. 2 years at best, most last less than a year.
-
McKenna has shown loyalty. It does exist. I have no issue with being used as a stepping stone but after 1 season? Not having that, we should expect better as fans, I’m sure the players that have worked hard under him, players like Winksy will be surprised and disappointed. I agree with your Xmas prediction though!
-
Leaving after less than 12 months is not respecting the badge in any way. It’s a lack of respect and loyalty for the club that has given you a fabulous opportunity. He’s had a great season but if he leaves this quickly having remodelled LCFC as part of a supposed long term project he talked about then he goes in the same bin as McGhee and Megson!
-
It’s Chelsea, perhaps the worst of the lot of the snake 6 for how they run their club and how they deal with other teams. So irrespective of how I really liked Enzo last season, if he goes, I genuinely hope he and his team fail next season! Preferably spectacularly fail! 😂
-
Did they not appoint Potter and Lampard then?
-
We’ve had multiple players asset stripped by Chelsea and now potentially a manager and a coaching squad. We didn’t get Fofana to revolt against St Etienne, Chelsea very publicly courted him and thus encouraged his behaviour. Which club have used Luke Chelsea have used us over the last decade then?
-
I’ve been a Leicester fan my whole life and if I was in Enzo’s shoes I wouldn’t go there instantly. I certainly wouldn’t be drip feeding through Romano that I was ‘super keen.’ Have some class Enzo ffs. I’d expect a bit of loyalty considering he was plucked from a coaching role after failing badly in his first managerial role. If he does go, I hope he fails, mainly because other than 2015/16 Chelsea have classlessly asset stripped us, tapping up Chilwell mid season, encouraging Fofana to down tools and have generally lived up to all the negative characteristics that the big 6 get criticised for.
-
If Enzo is confident in his ability he wouldn’t be ‘super keen’ to go to Chelsea, He’d realise that he had a project at Leicester and he’d be super keen to finish that! Every manager that Chelsea’s owners appoint end up leaving acrimoniously after no more than a year, even if they win a major trophy like Tuchel.

I’d say Poch’s reputation hasn’t been enhanced by him taking over Chelsea. Same for Potter. The most memorable thing about Potter during his Chelsea time was his ‘glow up.’ His football reputation was at its peak just as he left Brighton and it dipped with his sacking and after what de Zerbi did with Potter’s squad of players at Brighton. The Chelsea job also pretty much ended Lampard’s career as a potential top level manager.
-
First of all I’ve been a massive fan of Enzo since day one. I’m desperate for him to stay. I think him potentially going to Chelsea after all of their own financial issues and terrible manager history is very disappointing but the silence from the Maresca camp is deafening. If he leaves then I hope the move fails tbh. With regards to the story, the word I used was ‘supposedly’ but you’d be naive if don’t think this factor wasn’t drip fed off the record from a Maresca source. Similar concerns are expressed in The Times and other sources. It’s pretty much everywhere with no Maresca denial of any links or any details.
-
We do have money. It’s the PSR that may prevent us from spending it!
-
Well Fernandez and Caicedo have been poor together. Chelsea’s improvement coincided with the season ending injury to Fernandez. Poch moved Gallagher back to play alongside Caicedo and allowed Palmer to work his magic more centrally
-
As reported today in The Guardian LOL. see attachment The vast majority of fans think Enzo’s done an excellent job though I’d argue that compared to most of The Championship our circumstances have been favourable rather than ‘extremely challenging.’ Leicester were favourites to get promoted and alongside Leeds we had the best squad in the league even after the departures. He’s got excellent potential but ffs he’s managed for 1 season and a quarter, the majority of that in the 2nd tier. He’s not ready for a club as ruthless as Chelsea and the outcome is inevitable if it happens. He’ll have a short tenure and it’ll end acrimoniously as it has with pretty much every manager that’s moved to them in recent years, especially under this new ownership.

Is it Cole Caicedo Palmer (middle name) or Cole Caceido-Palmer (hyphenated surname?)
-
Supposedly one of the factors that has encouraged Enzo to speak to Chelsea is the impending points deduction that we are likely to get. Does he not realise that Chelsea are also facing a similar deduction? Tbh if we look at the previous asset stripping that Chelsea have done to us, it often doesn’t work. If they do poach Maresca after the opportunity we’ve given him and after such a short period of time I hope it’s a failure for both Chelsea and Enzo.
-
Lookman played out of position in the vast majority of games for us and he did that because apparently Barnes has a complete inability to play on the right.
-
Yes one of the very few times when he was allowed on the left and guess what? He looked different class.
-
Getting ugly flashbacks of Rodgers refusing to give Lookman a go on the left. Steadfastly sticking with Barnes and continually playing Lookman out of position even when pace merchant but trickless Barnes had been found out by his fullback.
-
I liked Yunus, I think he would’ve done better in the Premier League which is less physical and has overly protective referees. He has great technique. Unfortunately he fell between the two roles for Enzo. Not really a winger, not quite a number 8. Probably the perfect number 10 as a plan b which we don’t really use! He’s likely a victim of previous financial failings at the club. If we could spend with less restriction then £7m for him would’ve been a no brainer.
