We need a Statue of Danny Saving that last penalty that didn’t quite reach the goal line to commemorate such a historic display. Maybe we could have a little BDCR statue as part of the display expertly watching the save like he expertly watched the game from his usual left side on-field spectator position,
-
Ward saving us away at Walsall in Round 3 of the Carabao Cup more than makes up for him getting us relegated. Build. The. Statue.

I’m jealous of BDCR tonight. He had a great view of the game from his on-field spectator position. Presumably he had a go-pro camera on or something? -
Wasn’t that Iversen?

You haven’t applied the Cooper factor to your decision making. It made logical sense to start Skipp so you have to apply the Cooper factor which is to do the exact opposite of logic. Applying the Cooper factor to your decision and the answer can ONLY be to bench him. it also explains Cooper’s plan to utilise our left back role as the attacking overload. Neither of our left backs are skillful or particularly fast so applying Cooper logic means that’s exactly where we focus our attack. Always apply ‘The Cooper Factor™️’ and it makes the constant defeats and the occasional draws easier to stomach.

Fabulous nights work from BDCR tbf.
-
On a positive note, if we ever set up a Leicester City walking football team, we gave 2 absolute shoe-ins in Coady and Edouard.
-
I’m glad Cooper is sticking with a double defensive pivot of Hamza and Bouba. We’ve still got a chance of taking Walsall all the way to penalties 🤞
-
Tbf to Cooper, what better way to discipline Vestergaard than to select Clogger Coady ahead of him. It’s discipline with maximum shithousery.
-
Daka’s movement isn’t very good tho 🤷🏻♂️
-
On Sky + the commentators are talking Thomas up as some major attacking threat that Walsall have somehow nullified. 😂
-
According to NASA he’s a Baseline Document Change Request. So that solves that then.
-
JJ!! I really don’t think you should be texting from the subs bench mate. Tut tut.
-
Anyone worked out what BDCR is yet? He’s not a winger, he’s not a number 8, he’s not a striker. What is he? What problem is fixed by a BDCR?

3 days is indeed a long time.

You have to think like Cooper. Yes it makes sense to give ‘EL’ a start to get over his weekend debut but if you add the Cooper factor to the decision, which is to think the exact opposite of logic, then it makes every sense to not play him. Applying the Cooper factor will help us all process his Ricardo hate, his Alves hate and his Vesty absolute hate. (They are all good footballers so they should be dropped) It helps understand his obsession with playing Fatawu on the left - (he’s only really a threat on the right so play him on the left) his signing of BDCR, (he’s not anywhere near as good as Mavididi so start the season with him ahead of Stephy). You can also apply the Cooper factor to understand his Ayew being knackered blindness, his soft spot for Ward and his preference for setting up to draw or narrowly lose games he should be trying to win.
-
Another opportunity to watch BDCR on the left and try to decipher what possessed the club to give him a 3 year deal and why Cooper actually thought he was a better option there than Mavididi.

Leicester City versus Everton Tactical Analysis
funkyrobot replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can you send this to Cooper and cc Top? Cooper doesn’t appear to have half your tactical nous or even the tactical nous of us fans going crazy in the stands. He’s making such obviously bad, illogical decisions that it feels like he’s doing it on purpose. Is he actually Agent Cooper from the Notts Forest Secret Service I wonder? 🤔 -
No slower than Coady and much better on the ball and yet Vesty doesn’t even get a place on the bench.
-
For me, the absolutely baffling decision was to not put a pace merchant like Fatawu against Young. I would’ve started him but ffs Cooper, at least give the lad 30 minutes. Ayew didn’t offer too much and certainly no pace. Young is 40 next year. Fatawu would’ve had a field day, Cooper continues to make baffling decisions like this. Firstly it was BDCR and then Ayew selected ahead of Mavididi, then the shunning of our best player in Ricardo who has had zero PL minutes despite buckets of goals coming down Justin’s side. Then there was the bizarre self defeating ultra defensive subs against Palace and then today, he doesn’t put pace against Young, expects El Khanouss to be ready to start, drops Skippy and takes our best attacking outlet off with 4 minutes left of the game. Even the bomb squading of Verstergaard makes no sense to me. Very worrying from Cooper. He’s like a Swiss Army knife of a manager. One without any one single function (or game plan) but who likes to have plenty of options to react to a game plan of an opponent. Unfortunately he appears to be a cheap knock off Swiss Army knife from DHGate that’s blunt and not fit for purpose.
-
Not after 5 league games he didn’t.
-
Not sure how the club go about sacking the fan base tbh. 😂
-
He obviously thinks JJ is the better option (I disagree) but zero minutes is really poor people management of a player of Ricardo!s stature and ability.
-
JJ has struggled in every match this season with lots of goals coming from his side. Ricardo getting zero minutes in the league despite this surely points to a breakdown in the relationship. Cooper perhaps using Ricardo as an old school manager might do to demonstrate that he’s in charge by shithousing a senior pro. Bizarre omission by Cooper whatever the reason.

Tbf I don’t think any fan sat in the dugout would’ve brought Hamza AND Coady on today when we were winning 2-1. You don’t need a top level FA coaching licence or years of management experience to see that bringing on two defenders, defending very deep and inviting a team on, whilst showing no intention to attack is likely to end badly.
