  1. Johnny Heitinga during his time at Ajax. 4-3-3 1st for possession 1st for challenge intensity Played with inverted full backs Wasserman Client That’s the perfect list to be a Leicester City manager.
  2. Needs to be released from prison first
  3. Mentioned him yesterday. With him being a Wasserman client, he is bound to get linked if Enzo goes.
  4. Moyes is a guy who was 3-1 up on Newcastle, then decided to take off Antonio for Phillips and JWP off for Johnson, they ended up losing 4-3. His defensive mindset and decision making would drive our fans up the wall.
  5. We get Moyes then we’d probably end up with a centre back pairing of Vestergaard & Ogbonna, and a central midfield pairing of Boubakary Soumare & Cheikh Kouyate.
  6. #WelcomeJohnnyHeitinga
  7. Exactly Finners. It’s the type of route we’ve been down before. If Maresca goes, my instant thought goes to the board wanting a manager who has managed in the Premier League.
  8. All the talk since last night is about Chelsea wanting a young manager who is obsessed with possession. De Zerbi atm is considered unlikely. Hoeness could be a difficult deal to do. Frank doesn’t really fit the obsessed with possession mould. Therefore it would be no surprise if Chelsea actually turn to Maresca or McKenna, they both fit the bill. And if he does depart, we’ll try for Potter, fail again and end up with someone like Bruno Lage.
  9. Hopefully he makes a trip to the KP next season.
  10. A midfield trio of Rice - Foden - Bellingham offers far more attacking intent and flare. Absolutely no need to field a midfield trio of Mainoo - Rice - Bellingham, especially in the Group Stage.
  11. You’d have to travel to Villa Park if you want to live out that fantasy 👍🏻
  12. Too negative Gareth Jon. Should be Rice - Foden - Bellingham With either Palmer or Gordon off the left.
  13. Refreshing to see Wharton & Mainoo fight it out to be Rice’s backup. Personally I’d give Wharton the edge right now to make the final 26.
  14. Another goal for Malmö today.
  15. Sessegnon would be completely the wrong fit for a Maresca team, as @StriderHiryu said, he isn’t a player you associate with 1 vs 1 dribbling ability. Pass.
  16. Shame we didn’t get a European winner, but it’s about time Xander got a major.
  17. All set for a potentially epic shootout tomorrow. Hopefully a European wins it, but if we get an American winner I’d love it to be Theegala.
  18. If we can’t get hold of Jacob Greaves, then that position is a bit of a head scratcher, because ideally we need a starter in that position. In terms of Scandinavia, Kevin Diks(Copenhagen) and Jacob Rasmussen(Brondby) both have had solid seasons. Diks is very versatile and can play anywhere across the backline. Rasmussen according to Danish Scout, is the best ball playing centre half in the division, he also received his first Denmark call up back in March. In terms of young talent, Olivier Provstgaard(Vejle) is getting good reviews, but supposedly Bologna are sniffing around him. Working on Ligue 1, Arthur Theate would be the most ideal imo, has the ball playing ability and recovery pace, but very much like Greaves we may be priced out. Belocian also of Rennes and Zeze who we’ve been linked with, can also be classed as ball playing centre backs, but personally from what I’ve seen of them, I don’t think either are ready to be starting regularly in the Premier League. Lorenzo Pirola(Salernitana) is a name that’s been on my radar. Salernitana have been relegated from Serie A, but do we really want a defender who has been part of a defence that’s shipped 76 goals this season 😕 Ricardo Rodriguez(Torino) looks to be a free agent in the summer, but then you’d be praying in hope that he is another Fuchs rather than a Bertrand. Finally Konstantinos Koulierakis(PAOK) is a talent I like the look of. Can be a little bit over aggressive in duels, but if he can iron that out, then he is someone that we could make good profit on imo. The only thing is that he’s been heavily linked with a move to Frankfurt.
  19. Not surprised if Farioli ends up being the next on Brighton’s conveyor belt of possession style managers. Hardly set the World alight at Nice though, looked title contenders in the first quarter of the season, then once the losses came in, their form slumped. Questions have also been asked regarding his style too, for large chunks of the season, Nice have been a pretty dire watch.
  20. Thoroughly agree mate. Went through his dribbling from this season the other day, his ability to just glide past players is a joy to watch. Wouldn’t be surprised if we dip into the loan market for another RW, but if we have the ability to get Osorio in the region of £10-15 million, then it’s a must.
  21. They should bin off Saturday Social for a show with Nige & Warnock.
  22. Neil Warnock might be the best pundit on Sky.
  23. Two players I’ve mentioned in recent days/weeks, just raid Scandinavia and we’ll be fine
