  1. He’s just rocked up like a scene from WWE
  2. Awaiting on the Scottie Scheffler mugshot
  3. Only what Norwich deserve for having bloody Shane Duffy & Ben Gibson as their centre backs.
  4. Because he’s a convicted rapist mate 😬
  5. Add Malick Yalcouye to that list as well buddy
  6. Vestergaard was an integral piece of our system in the Championship, trying to replace him with someone who is equally good with the ball would be extremely difficult, you’d probably have to look at spending £30-£40 million on a centre back, there’s no chance of that happening. But next season we simply have to surround him with pace, a new RCB & LCB are a must.
  7. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest, if one of the Rennes centre backs are linked with us this summer, purely because of their ball playing ability. I’ve liked the look of Belocian on a couple of occasions this season, but I don’t see him being ready to be a regular starter in the Premier League. There’s a cluster of centre backs in Ligue 1 in that age bracket. Christian Mawissa of Toulouse especially has really impressed me at times recently. Theate is far from perfect defensively, but in terms of ball playing ability and recovery pace, he has the right traits we need in that LCB/LB slot. Price would probably be an issue though. Kalimuendo might only be 5ft9, but the way he plays would be absolutely ideal in our system imo. One of the better strikers in Ligue 1 when it comes to dropping into midfield and linking play, also has enough pace to run the channels and in behind defences.
  8. Desire Doue’s ceiling is pretty high, can’t see him being realistic unfortunately. Gouiri can be very much a mixed bag, quite often tends to flatter to deceive. Loved Le Fee at Lorient, but has really struggled to find any consistency at Rennes, can see them sticking with him though for another season. Bourigeaud is the standout, has already stated he’s interested in a move to the Premier League. Kalimuendo & Terrier would also be ideal for us imo. Theate, Wooh, Omari & Belocian all have good ball playing ability, but all four can be defensively suspect.
  9. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2024/desire-doue-and-arnaud-kalimuendo-to-lead-mass-exodus-at-rennes/ With Rennes missing out on Europe, it looks highly likely that a few players will depart. With the style of football they play, they have many players that would suit us. Bourigeaud of course has been linked to Leicester in the past. The type of striker that Kalimuendo is, I believe he’d suit our system. All their centre backs are pretty comfortable with playing out from the back, Theate is the pick of the bunch but would probably cost around £20 million 😕
  10. He’d be my dream replacement for KDH if we have to sell. He’ll be getting a lot of suitors though unfortunately. Also like the look of Giannis Konstantelias of PAOK.
  11. That’s his youth contract mate, he’ll probably sign a professional contract this summer 👍🏻 Saw his name pop up the other day
  12. Will be interesting to see what PSG do with Gharbi as well as Ayman Kari. We’ve been linked with Kari in the past, currently on loan at Lorient, has shown a few promising glimpses of his technical talent. Senny Mayula also looks a real prospect at PSG, but unfortunately can’t see them loaning him out after some recent good showings.
  13. The quality of those two games
  14. Fair point Regarding Davies as @JimJams said, he’d cost something. Anything over £10 million, then I wouldn’t bother. I also see Ricardo Rodriguez of Torino might be available on a free, he’d suit that role too.
  15. He showed up well on Wyscout, so had a thorough look at him on there 👍🏻 Somebody I’ve contemplated for that LCB/LB slot, would be absolutely ideal as he’s played both those roles in recent years.
  16. Victor Guzman - Monterrey - RCB In Liga MX this season... Accurate Passes - 91.46% Accurate Forward Passes - 85.74% Accurate Passes To Final Third - 79.71% Accurate Progressive Passes - 79.06% Accurate Long Passes - 63.04% Successful Defensive Duels - 79%(Ranks 1st of players to play 2000+ minutes in Liga MX) Successful Aerial Duels - 62.93% Took a look at him the other night and was seriously impressed with his duelling ability. Dominant, intelligent and quick. Also statistically one of the best defenders in the league from playing out from the back.
  17. His overall form has very much coincided with Rennes season as a whole, a mixture of high and low points. When Bourigeaud has delivered though, he has still very much been one of Rennes’ best performers and most important players. A joy to watch when he gets his passing right.
  18. Mandela Keita getting linked to a few Premier League and Championship clubs, yet for some reason we don’t get a mention. Surely one of the easiest deals to do this summer. He would add some much needed ball winning ability to our midfield.
  19. Difficult to say mate. As I posted earlier, his underlying passing statistics are nothing to write home about, especially in terms of successful passes to final third and progressive passes. If we end up signing him, then I’ll have a deeper look at his passing ability. But if that YouTube vid is anything to go by, maybe he chips half his passes to the opposition
  20. @StriderHiryu @Finnegan @Ric Flair Pereira’s passing statistics according to Wyscout. Accurate Passes - 87.36% Forward Passes per90 - 17.80 Accurate Forward Passes - 73.65% Passes To Final Third per90 - 4.29 Accurate Passes To Final Third - 60.87% Progressive Passes per90 - 6.65 Accurate Progressive Passes - 60.75% They also analyse Interceptions differently to Fbref. Wyscout has him down in 6th for most interceptions in the league 👍🏻
  21. Just been through his defensive duels from this season, can see the logic in wanting him. Once the opposition break past our slow players, Gabby will be on hand to bail us out. The amount of times this poor fvcker gets left exposed by his Gil Vicente teammates, it’s no wonder he excels in 1 vs 1 defensive situations, he gets enough practice!
  22. Would be interesting to see what Norwich fans view his best position as. His best work seems to come when picking up more central positions, he basically plays like a right sided attacking midfielder, which then allows Stacey to pick up the RW space.
  23. A bit twitchy in the end but as @Nalis said, on the balance of the whole tournament, he was the rightful World Champion.
