  1. As you’ve stated in the last paragraph, all we ask for as fans is a certain level of application, the aggressiveness we saw against Norwich was completely different to anything we’ve seen in a while. We got none of that tonight, tonight was going through the motions type football, back to the tepid shite that we’ve seen far too often recently. Like many others have said tonight, it’s difficult to put up with that kind of football. We are like a poundland Manchester City, too full of players who don’t fit well enough in that kind of style. Said it on here last week, I’d rather see an energetic counter-pressing style over a controlled possession style. Possession style football at Leicester City has past it’s sell-by date.
  2. Strong words but I’ve often felt similar many times this season. Haven’t felt this detached from Leicester City in a long time. What annoyed me most tonight is we go from performing with aggression against Norwich, back to this boring uninspired tepid shite just over a week later. So many performances like that recently, and it wouldn’t be surprising if there’s more to come. As baffling as it may sound, even though we’re currently top, this team has me feeling nothing, they just don’t excite me like some Leicester teams have done in the past.
  3. The more I watch this team, the more I miss the days of Morgan & Huth. Real defenders, real leaders. Nowadays we have to put up with Wout Faes, how depressing.
  4. Need some Huski Chocolate as comfort after enduring that shit.
  5. Fvck you Daka, bring back Steve Howard
  6. The most boring half of football this season
  7. The fear of a Scheffler runaway victory looms large. Other potential contenders I’ll go with Matsuyama & Schauffele, both have been fairly consistent this year. Zalatoris currently at 28/1 and Theegala at 40/1 could also be worth a dabble, both have had some decent finishes this year, plus strong showings at The Masters in recent years.
  8. Wasn’t much of a Williams fan back in the day, but since he won his third World Championship it seems to have changed him as a player, as pundits have said, he is playing some of the best Snooker of his career atm. This week has made the World Championship more interesting, as you’ve touched on @Nalis, the bottom half is looking brutal.
  9. 3-1 down and looking average, to 5-3 up thanks to three centuries and a half century. Ronnie 🐐
  10. Ridiculous how many times Ronnie’s found a burst in the latter stages of matches this season to pull away, phenomenal Snooker.
  11. You could easily count at least ten players that Brighton have that will rake in profit. For instance even though they signed Joao Pedro for around £30 million, with the impact he’s had so far, you could easily see him going elsewhere in a few years for £60-70 million. They have a cluster of players in their early 20’s and teens, that will rake in serious profit over the coming years. When it comes to Leicester City, in the summer it’s looking highly likely we’d need to generate a good amount when it comes to player sales, but we have so many players in their mid to late 20’s with zero profit value. KDH & Hermansen are the only two who could rake in a decent sum, we’d probably make profit on James Justin but not by much. Who knows what our transfer policy will look like in the summer, we could be completely screwed and will have to rely on numerous of our academy players. But if and when we have some money to spend, our strategy simply has to change. We need to find more players in Hermansen’s bracket.
  12. Higgins stated the same thing last night, that the World Championships could be his last. Could be a frustrated knee-jerk reaction from both, we have seen it many times with Snooker players threatening retirement, but we’ll be seeing soon enough what their mindset will be like at the Worlds. Numerous of the over 40’s seem to be fighting with the game atm, but in Higgins & Selby’s cases, the lack of winning events seems to be really frustrating them atm. Selby has had such a yo-yo season, while Higgins has actually played some really good Snooker at times, but can’t seem to win an event. With their Crucible pedigree though, they could easily find something in Sheffield, with one of them lifting the trophy again by the end of it.
  13. Rudkin has gone through the ranks at Leicester City since 2003, as the saying goes he is ‘part of the furniture’. But it’s reached the point where he needs to be moved on, Top needs to be cutthroat and make some changes. Whether it’s removing Jon Rudkin, Susan Whelan or both, something needs to happen. A well respected Director Of Football with good history is needed.
  14. Unsurprisingly it seems those at the top got cocky, those two 5th place finishes went to their heads, and they tried to operate like a top six club. Those wage figures are an absolute joke, but they are hardly surprising. Fans knew that numerous players were on undeserved high wages, now here’s the evidence. Nowadays we see Director of Football being a key figure in the game, over the past few weeks we’ve seen both Man Utd & Liverpool getting linked with well respected Directors of Football. You never see Jon Rudkin getting linked to clubs like that though do you, because he’s shite. Top needs to grow a set of bollocks and make some drastic changes to our Football Operations, if not then it’s about time for our fans to seriously consider protesting against certain elements of this football club.
  15. Ipswich have definitely hired some monks this season.
  16. Hopefully we show that kind of aggression over the next 7 games, if we do then we should get promoted
  17. Fvcking get in!!!!!!!
  18. What a difference a bit of aggression makes, the last 15 minutes of that half is the best football we’ve played for a while.
  19. The signings of Hermansen, Winks, Mavididi & Fatawu in the summer were the indication of the club giving exactly what Maresca wanted in terms of his style of play. Goalkeeper who can play out from the back ☑️ Midfield dictator who is good in possession ☑️ Wingers who excel in 1 vs 1 situations ☑️ But you could question if he was backed enough, not being able to strengthen in January imo has hurt us, especially when other teams around us were able to. We needed another body in central midfield, while I also said in January that another winger was needed. I’m not surprised that Maresca is continuing with Mavididi & Fatawu regardless of form, because the likes of Albrighton, McAteer & Akgun aren’t really his type of wingers, you could even question if McAteer & Akgun are even wingers in the first place. In the summer the squad will more than likely be dismantled again. Do we continue to stick with Maresca’s principles, where more technical players are definitely needed, but the potential lack of funds could hold us back from giving him the type of squad he craves. Or do we rip up the plan and go back to our Pearson/Ranieri title winning days? Maybe the pattern of possession style football has run its course at this football club, I can’t say I’m surprised to see a chunk of the fanbase becoming burnt out from having to watch this kind of style.
  20. Currently has a goal and assist in Malmö’s first game of the season today.
  21. https://s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/gc-media-assets-v2.gc.wstservices.co.uk/0d492050-ee73-11ee-a7a5-b73f10cfa53e.pdf Qualifying draw for World Championships for whoever hasn’t seen 👍🏻
  22. GERRIMIN!
  23. Just far too one dimensional for my liking, shows zero signs of having a “Plan B”. If he continues in this manner, regardless of what league we’re in, I wouldn’t have confidence in him as manager. His style of play is cut from the same cloth as Puel & Rodgers, when we get found it, then it only turns one way and that is boring slow tedious football. The club is too obsessed with possession based managers, it’s no surprise to see numerous fans becoming tired of this style of football, we’ve seen it all before since 2017. Give me a high intensity, counter-pressing style manager over an obsessive possession based style manager any day of the week.
  24. Really starting to become disillusioned with this football club. First time this season where I’m really starting to lose patience with Maresca, the style of football is cut from the same cloth as Puel & Rodgers, when it goes wrong, it’s like watching paint dry.
