True. But like you say, it's probably the West Ham defence. If given the choice, I'd know which of the CB pairings out of Branthwaite & Tarkowski vs Kilman & Mavropanos I'd go for.
-
I agree. Dyche is a terrible manager and I was looking forward to him finally doing what needed to be done to Everton for the past 30 years. Sadly, Moyes will keep them up. Again.

Yeah, would make sense. Reims already have two "Japanesey" players on their books.

QPR (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round (11th Jan, 2pm)

Apart from Mads being out, all very encouraging - especially this bit. -
Perhaps childish is the wrong term. But it's just not something you'd normally see from someone who's supposed to be a seasoned/respected journalist working for a broadsheet. Tabloids, perhaps, as they thrive on reader comments, shares and outrage (bit like TalkSport). Wouldn't see that at the end of a Henry Winter article, for example.
-
Just an irrelevant observation about that Percy article... He finishes with the following: "The club’s slogan “Foxes Never Quit” is being tested to the full." That's something you usually only see from undergraduates or trainee journalists. Ie. letting their personal feelings (Percy's a Forest fan) shine through in childish ways.

Exactly one. Some random called Geoffrey Caphe Cappucino because Rudkin can't even get the names of coffees right.
-
I also like the fact that your FT name is what Rudkin is.

Seems that someone, somewhere wants Wolves to stay up.

QPR (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round (11th Jan, 2pm)

I think, psychologically, this game has now become quite important. -
What happened? Not on a stream atm.

Some former egg-chaser called Iam Mongue has just had a pop at us during his half time advert for the Tigers game.

I agree tbh. I love KDH. Both as a player and the journey he has been on – Leicester lad etc. Always will. I do want to see him in a Leicester shirt again at some point – if it suits our situation and is the right thing for him too. But he wouldn't be my choice to solve the problems we currently have. I genuinely don't think we'd be much different re. points total even if we'd had him for this season.
-
Doesn't make a huge difference how much money or head room for wages we have, in my humble opinion. As long as Mr Rudkin is at the club, we will continue to make bad calls and operate as amateurs.
-
No way back for Ward now, thank goodness. On a professional level, I feel for him. I'm sure this isn't how he saw it panning out with his multi-million pound transfer to us. But then, on a human level....£40k a week means that I'm sure he'll be better off than most. So when it comes to things that matter in life (food, shelter etc.) he's probably more than sorted. It's not like a few fans pointing out to him that he's awful at football (and possibly being a bit mean in the process) will threaten his life. So good luck and see you never.
-
Love the fact that RvN did give Ward a chance as he was the "recognised" number 2. But equally hasn't shied away from doing the obvious and dropping him and bringing in JS. Thought JS did well today. Should build on today's performance if he indeed is required again.
-
He 100% was.

There are people on here who defend Rudkin from time to time. The one point they do make, which I agree with, is that while he is awful at most aspects of his job, he seems to act without accountability and wears a number of hats - which is the fault of those above him. In other words, he's getting away with being awful. Perhaps Rudkin actually genuinely believes he's doing a grand job - because no one within the business seems to challenge him. It's a bizarre situation.

I can't watch this. Better things to do with my life.

Coady and Ward off at half time, please...

Fosse Collective - an alternative represenation

I'm sure that the fixtures that Wolves are facing after today have been mentioned earlier in the thread, but just to reiterate that if we can win – or at least not lose – then we put Wolves under a lot of pressure. Here's their next 8 games until 22 February. Not many points there for them. Man U (h) Spurs (a) Notts Forest (h) Newcastle (a) Chelsea (a) Arsenal (h) Aston Villa (h) Liverpool (a)

I'd take a 55-year-old Steve Guppy over McAteer, so Almiron would be a good signing for the second half of the season for us.
