  1. Or shift his head a bit t the left – as the curve makes it look like it's his shoulders. You could then perhaps fade in the foxes logo in grayscale to appear half behind his head, as a transparent. Just enough for it to show.
  2. To be fair, we were never going to get anything out of the game with Skipp and Hamza in midfield. Ward coming on has sealed it. Move on to the next one and hope Mads is back.
  3. McAteer will get eaten alive today. Gordon/Joelinton and Livramento/Hall down his flank, with Tonali/Guimaraes playing them in. Scary too, that Justin will be asked to hold that side up. Could be a long afternoon.
  4. Think that would look better without the goat's face.
  5. Michael Owen is a complete bungalow. His comments about concussion a couple of years ago confirmed that. Never mind what clueless garbage he has spewed about Vardy. A great examples of how someone can play at the highest level and still add nothing to football in any shape or form after their active career.
  6. Agree with most of that. And that's exactly why I struggled with some on here (never mind our FB pages), who were saying that Enzo would be "sacked by Xmas". I simply couldn't fathom where they were coming from. Even more bizarrely, they weren't being bitter because he left (which I could kind of understand). Rather, it was the same people who somehow saw Enzo's style as "boring". The mind boggles how (and why) some people watch football.
  7. Is it, though? Watch him out of possession. Just hone in on him and what he does (or rather, doesn't do). Forget the ball, watch him.
  8. McAteer is dire. I so want him to be good. But no.
  9. The ever-obliging and so on and so forth...
  10. Agree. Ironically, with all the drive towards attacking football, it seems that the key to winning football games still remains the same - solid defending. Doesn’t mean the football needs to be turgid, quite the contrary, but without a defence you’re fighting a losing battle.
  11. Van Nistelrooy could well help with tapping into his potential. Am I right in thinking that RvN hasn’t even seen Edouard in training yet, due to the injury?
  12. Hope not. The longer he stays, the more games they lose and better for us.
  13. The two aren't mutually exclusive. You only have to see Chelsea's recent list of recent managers to realise that it's not exactly an easy job.
  14. "Manager confidence 99%" There's always one. 😂
  15. Exactly this. We've gone from some miserable bloke down the pub – who looked like he got his face caught in a blender and who sounded permanently depressed – to a well-dressed, suave Johnny Foreigner who oozes positivity and has a shexhy accent to boot. Things are looking up.
  16. Two days with Ruud and he's turned into George Weah. Long may it continue. He might have been a massive disappointment so far, but he always seems to at least try and do his best. So if good things are heading his way, I couldn't be more chuffed.
  17. He's been our worst player by a country mile. Clueless defensively and positionally, with and without the ball. His decision-making with the ball constantly lets him down. Could've put Vardy in on a 1v1 but instead decided to go in himself.
  18. McAteer needs to come off at HT. Poor defensively as well as with the ball.
  19. Impressed by RVN's interview on Amazon just now. Positive, relaxed, a man that is looking forward to the task at hand. That will no doubt be transmitted to the players. His pedigree will also mean he has players' respect. Wouldn't be surprised if we see some really positive signs in the performance tonight. Still think we'd do well to get anything out of the game, but I don't think we'll see the uninspiring turdball we saw under Cooper.
  20. So, let me get this right - the source for this is "Footballinsider247". 😂😂😂 Literally some dudes writing stuff while sitting in their parents' spare bedrooms.
  21. Only if it barks/meows/screeches in Dutch.
  22. Carsley's excellent with young players and developing players in general. Also great at coaching technical aspects of the game - how to do things better etc. But tactically, I don't think anyone can say whether he is any good. Simply not enough of a body of work. With England, he chopped and changed and tried different things. Nothing wrong with that, but he clearly doesn't have a philosophy that he swears by. And that's partly what makes him such an excellent technical coach for the training pitch. Tell him what to teach the players and he will do a great job.
