A depressing thought, but only becsuse you're probably right and it shows how far we've fallen.

Go to bed, you're drunk.

WITAF? £10m+ and we've rejected it? For McAteer?
-
To be fair, we'd probably notice it through an improvement in performances on and off the pitch – more stable finances, a general mood lift around the place and, most importantly, a better quality playing squad.

Nasser Djiga - Centre-Back from Red Star

Which, knowing Rudkin, is probably £10m less than what we've offered. But somehow Wolves will end up signing him anyway. -
These are exactly my thoughts. Clever move to get our next season's young, key players out on loan to get a taste of the Championship. There will be a clear-out following relegation this summer, so plenty of opportunities (and, in fact, a requirement) for our own to step up. A big part of me is already looking forward to next season now. Get rid of the dead wood and reset the club. Mid-table Championship season full of U23s is much preferable to what we've seen this season.

IN: • We sign Latte Lath for £20m, but Rudkin faxes one bit of the paperwork to the wrong number and the Premier League's signing deadline is missed, so the striker will be ineligible to play until the end of the season. • Rudkin boasts privately to journalists (to ensure the story gets out) that he is signing a promising Greek CB who has just made his breakthrough in the national team. Turns out it is in fact (thanks to a "misunderstanding" and confusion over a similar name) Mickey Demetriou, the 34-year-old Crewe defender. OUT: • Bilal el Khannous is allowed to leave on a free and joins Liverpool due to what is described as a "miscommunication". An enquiry into what happened will be launched "in due course".

The point is to celebrate and enjoy every moment whenever you achieve something - when you support a club outside the "big six/seven". The next crash is only ever just around the corner for clubs like us. Villa, Brighton, Leeds, Bournemouth, West Ham etc. are in the same boat as us with that too.

Is that Spurs pic of them celebrating their unexpected, famous extra-time win against Tamworth away this month?

He hasn't got any. Zero. He has literally spent his entire working life with City, from a schoolboy trainee and part-time coach to somehow making it all the way to the top. It is exactly the reason for him being so out of his depth as he is.

Caleb announces on instagram FAKE NEWS

Hi John. -
Clever move. However, this bit made me laugh "The Club remains grateful for the family’s unwavering support and for the long-term security they continue to provide." Bit weird, as "the club" is wholly owned by the family. A bit like a car telling its owner that it is "grateful for the ongoing support in putting petrol in it".

Rudkin and Whelan are still figuring it all out. Give them time. They've only had 7,5 years to find ways for us to benefit from it.
-
Rudkin's working on a 5-year extension as we speak.
-
True. We might be out of our depth in the Prem this season. But they'll always be out of their depth if they ever need to come up with anything useful/analytical to say. All anecdotes and inane drivel, intersped with what they think are funny quips.
-
To look at the list of players that have gone for £25m in the past 12 months – and then to compare them to Skipp – makes me physically ill. Rudkin, you insipid, pastry-coloured, inadequate, quarter-brained advert for pro-choice.
-
What about we really show them our discontent? To truly show them we mean business? It might just be the time for us to bellow out the most fearsome of all protest songs. The Foxes Trust-inspired... We are where we are, We are where we are, We're Leicester City, We are where we are.

Just a thought, but would something that thanks Vichai for making a dream come true and asking Top not to let that go to waste work better? I feel the "I'm not angry, just disappointed" works best with characters like Top? It makes them feel like it's their action and decision. I'm no chant meister, so apologies in advance for the lame effort, but just to use a popular one and tweak it to show what I'm getting at: Vichai had a dream, He bought a football team, Gave us two trophies and made us all dream, Now we look bad, which makes us all sad Top bring our team back, we know that you can I know. I'll get my coat. But words to that effect.

We need to talk about social media and fans
HitchinFox replied to pkonline's topic in Leicester City Forum
Him and Robbie Lyle are millionaires and they both owe their success to one thing – the consistent failure of their teams over the past 10 years. It has coincided with the whole fan-led social media guff blossoming and becoming a thing. The hilarious truth is that a huge number of the watches, comments, clicks, shares etc. come from opposition fans laughing at them and their teams (and their reactions). Just compare the number of watches AFTV or Goldberg get when Arsenal/ManU win, to when they lose particularly badly and one of them has a hissy fit. It's so obvious that the worse the result and the angrier the reaction, the more watches and money they get. -
LCFC will NOT face any charges for breaching PSR

That twonk has nothing to do with avoiding the charge. -
That translation.... "An exit voucher granted that inevitably arouses the interest". Sounds like a pass for a lads' weekend in Amsterdam.

How do you define a club legend?
HitchinFox replied to Torquay Gunner's topic in Leicester City Forum
This. Vardy is a legend. But there are also cult heroes - like Rooster Russell and The Big Finn Rantanen (to pick a couple of more obscure ones). You can't compare their achievements, but if you lived in a certain period of time, they got the crowd going.
