  1. Managed the game better today but do think the plan ultimately relies on the personnel and he really needs to see that when we don't have certain players - Ricardo the obvious one, we need to look for alternatives. In short never ever invert Choudhury again. Better today but needs to turn this into one final ruthless run. Win them all.
  2. I have to say fair play - I was ridiculously down going into that game today and while I'm not in the bigger picture happy, it is nice to see us deliver some sort of reaction for once. We were good today. Best we've played in a while at home. It definitely coincides with having the majority of our side fit again - I do wish he'd look at alternatives when he doesn't though. Better, but absolutely no good without more of the same.
  3. I completely agree with all of this. I have come to no other conclusion now than we need a change of ownership. There is no more benefit of the doubt. The common denominator is the ownership, the culture of unaccountability, the loyalty to demonstrably inept, out of their depth, self-serving people. You can wince about it being a shame when it's costing you pushing bigger and better teams, but it's beyond that now. We are in terminal freefall. We are Portsmouth, Derby but behind their schedule. Rodgers genuinely was not the main problem. He was a ****ing big one, but the longer time passes, the longer it's hard to not see him and his attitude as another symptom of what's above him. This season is playing out the same as the previous in almost eerie circumstances. I would take protests at every game over promotion this season - but our fans are so blinkered by this ownership that I think you've got about as much chance of Brazil winning the Euros.
  4. Think that tells you everything about this club to be honest.
  5. I've done Leeds 1st Ipswich 2nd at 14/1 and Ipswich 1st Leeds 2nd at 22/1 - did them a week ago but still reckon you'll get good odds. You just need Southampton to not come good basically.
  6. The more I think about it with him the more I think he's reigned it in like Rodgers did and it just waiting to be booted. I think our players and coaches start well and collapse because the summer approaches and they have their motivation taken away. The performance served up on Friday was resembling of a team and manager who really don't care. They want to jump this ship. I'll believe this until I'm presented with a reaction on the pitch to the contrary.
  7. This is a complete irrelevance. We're 3rd. It is failing.
  8. Make that 3. Absolutely incredible goings on at Stuttgart v Hoffenheim. For a bit of a summary, this weekend, all of the following either won or held the lead at some point, so were a viable pick for a freeze: Bristol City (v Leicester) @ 5.25 Plymouth (v Norwich) @ 6.50 Watford (v Leeds) @ 6.50 Cambridge (v Barnsley) @ 8.00 Carlisle (v Peterborough) @ 11.00 Harrogate (v AFC Wimbledon) @ 7.00 Estrela (v Sporting) @ 12.00 Luton (v Tottenham) @ 9.00 Hoffenheim (v Leverkusen) @ 12.00 Dortmund (v Bayern) @ 6.50 NEC Nijmegen (v PSV) @ 8.00 Heidenheim (v Stuttgart) @ 9.00 Utrecht (v Feyenoord) @ 9.50 Estoril (v Porto) @11.00 Brighton (v Liverpool) @ 8.50 Genuinely remarkable that they still offer this to anybody. I had the ones in bold. Ones in blue actually won the game.
  9. Still no - I'd be relieved but I wouldn't be happy. But we won't be getting 2nd either.

Agree - if he'd done it some point last season I'd have said fair enough, you had a go and you've held your hands up. But I don't think this is the attitude. There is zero self-critique at this club. Literally none and that is ultimately what's going to run us into the ground.
  11. I think at this club presently that is the case. I don't think the fans have it in them to force any meaningful change en masse because I don't think the majority are of the same view. I fully appreciate that I'm a minority amongst our fans - not on here perhaps, but the wider fanbase I'd say so.
  12. It makes me laugh when I hear fans of other clubs say this. These clubs fans moan about their own crap situation and think you're some sort of psychopath for not wanting your own club to follow them.

Well after it's too late. We are paralysed as a club and the only fix is he sells.
  14. Absolutely loads of big freeze teams came n this weekend. I've got my mate to do me 5 bets today and 2 of them have won already.
  15. I'd sooner be entitled than automatically accepting the latest flavour of dog shit served up from this shambles of a regime but each to their own isn't it.
  16. I would be delighted if the fanbase lost it. The most galling thing about this last two years is the lack of anger. I'm genuinely jealous of Everton who can make the place unbearable and force change. We have a flaccid fanbase. Seeing genuinely ugly scenes at our ground would give me some hope that some good can be forced eventually. As it is now, it just feels like we're in perpetual decline and the fans for the most part just don't seem to care.
  17. Good. I'm sick to death of this shit being tolerated.
  18. I've slept on it and I think I'm more sure I want him out than before I slept. I've seen enough. He's another style over substance merchant. I've no time for it.
  19. I'm not knocking this because it's a fair shout, he's done a really good job at Orient, but it's just absolutely wild to me that we're at a point where this can be a real suggestion. Michael Skubala was a PE teacher at my school when I was a student there and he's absolutely smashing it at Lincoln - he's doing so well that he'd be a genuine contender. That's just mind blowing to me. I think looking to this league I like what both Cifuentes and Rohl have done since taking charge - Rohl is probably still going to get relegated but he inherited an absolutely hopeless situation, while Cifuentes is going to save QPR from their own. I just cannot believe we're at a point where from the summer somebody like Rosenior or Corberan could tell us to stick it.
  20. He's genuinely terrible isn't he.
  21. With the greatest of respect they are consistently wrong on us. We are not a normal case and there is enough evidence now of that. I mean they had us to come 16th after the Fulham debacle last season where anyone who'd ever watched a game of football before knew we were one of the worst three teams. I say this as somebody who follows the odds quite closely but we are a complete anomaly and it's proven time and time again. The doom and gloom is totally justified. It's too serious a situation to just put our fingers in our ears and pretend everything is OK.
  22. They won't sack him before it's fully blown but I've no faith in him beyond this season even if we do go up.
  23. I've never been more sure of something that the supercomputers and the bookies think won't happen than Leicester blowing this. We aren't going up. Leeds and Ipswich will obviously stuff it up as well just to make the most arduous, painful possible experience where we blow it on the final day, before we lose in the play-off semis. We're in complete freefall. I think this is the start of our worst ever era.
  24. For all the pelters Mavididi gets he's been no better - though admittedly I think our wingers are big victims in this system.
  25. Time to point the finger at the one who has made this absolute twat bulletproof.
