  1. I don't recommend dragon soop
  2. Import Tottenham...
  3. Given the context of the situation we find ourselves in as a club, the opposition being ranked probably 24th out of 24 in terms of needing a result I think that's one of the most disgraceful showings I've ever seen. An absolute utter disgrace. If you're an Ipswich or Leeds fan watching that, you are absolutely buzzing. People talk about Ipswich being lucky all season but I think the biggest stroke of luck they have is that they've got to contend with these absolute jokers as their main competition. This team is no different to previous years. Spineless mentality from the very top of this club to the bottom which I have zero resonation with whatsoever. All of the lazy cliches are unfortunately true of us - we think we're too clever for it. Maresca has successfully in the space of six weeks gone from looking a good bet to breaking the points record to looking totally one-dimensional, out of his depth. I'd have no qualms if he was booted tomorrow to be honest. This is too important a situation to piss away on this kind of blind idealism. The same system every single game no matter who the opposition, no matter who the personnel we have available. He's a one-trick pony. The most disgraceful relegation in Premier League history in serious danger of being followed up with the most disgraceful bottling of promotion in Championship history - all at such a huge cost. It's unforgivable, and **** anyone defending this utter shit.
  4. He'll change nothing and we'll not win it. I still think the level of player in our side can be enough to bag us a result on an off day but I have no expectations in the performance at this point. I'll say 2-2 - which probably means a loss really, seeing as any slightly pessimistic prediction I make at the time turns out to be hugely optimistic in hindsight.
  5. There is no club like Leicester. Our fans aren't rational but how could you possibly expect them to be?
  6. This last six weeks he's proven himself totally out of his depth.
  7. If this was the case then it just makes the delay in sacking Rodgers even more absurd to me. We massively underperformed against those expectations.
  8. This is the scandalous part of this that is getting quite overlooked. Haven't we received nothing for Nyoni? Yet when we do it'll be a pittance. It's outrageous. It should be eight figures.
  9. Have we really got to have another year of the tacticos trying to convince us we have Zidane on our hands, but Zidane that only some can see? Good grief.
  10. I'm not sure that's entirely true. It is somewhat but it's not every team. I wouldn't say Ipswich play this way for example.
  11. I'd say there's a decentish chance this was the case. The Sensi situation didn't really tally with how we acted in the summer making luxury signings like Cannon. They have previous with Rodgers as well for all I fault him.
  12. That's pretty much it for me. There are a number of factors going against him being here. - Fans haven't really taken to him for the most part and his comments after the majority of home games seem to imply this bothers him. - Still haven't forgotten how fed up he looked in Thailand in July. Think it was starting to hit him already what he's dealing with. - Let down over Sensi and never even got anybody in to replace Casadei. People will say he should've seen it coming, but we have previous here with Rodgers. - Possibility that it's going a bit to pot on the field anyway. I'm having doubts whether he's truly the right man for this situation regardless. I can see a natural parting of ways.
  13. 3rd most bans but nowhere near on the arrests is quite telling. Bizarre club.
  14. I wanted him in the summer. Depressingly though if we don't go up I don't even think he'd come. I think you're looking more in the Cifuentes sort of bracket at that point. Our advantage will have largely been wiped.
  15. I don't see him starting next season here regardless of division I don't think. He's on a hiding to nothing.
  16. Correct. Remember the lies about the buses for that game too. The kind of thing you get away with when it's going well on the pitch and less so when it isn't. I wonder how much more contemptuous the club actually was last season towards the fans or whether it just seemed so due to how bad we were on the pitch.
  17. At some point in the Rodgers era probably, although that was a bit of an illusion. The Puel era was dour but that was probably our only period post 2015 where we've gotten it consistently right off the pitch in terms of transfers and whatnot.
  18. It's Top at this point. I don't demand that everything runs swimmingly 24/7 as that isn't realistic, but when you allow a culture to manifest where nobody seems to ever be held account for anything then I have no sympathy. The day our fans distinguish a difference between Vichai's ownership and Top's ownership will be a good one. It's time our fans collectively face the unfortunate truth.
  19. That's a great point - hadn't even thought of that. These lot are scarily bad. Even if we get through this are we seriously trusting these same people to get things back in gear?
  20. I think at this point now it's black and white with Southgate. I think it's either win the Euros or go. Highly doubt the FA see it this way though.
  21. Increasingly just have a bit of a hunch this is all quite a bad fit. So he's a very dogmatic manager of whom we don't have the nous, or by the looks of it money to support in this dogmatism. If we go up we will need work doing to this squad that we aren't going to be able to do.
  22. I'd back Mourinho in a tournament more than I would Southgate. I can imagine Mourinho's style now is more suited to tournament football than leagues - his time at Roma seems evidence itself.
  23. What about everything else? If it was going to be tricky then why not have an alternative lined up?
  24. Because it is ultimately sport rather than business. If the entire method is about making money rather than aiming for success then the game truly has gone. Leicester aren't going to be profitable in the Championship either and nor should the aim of Leicester be to be profitable. Prudent, and sensible with our money absolutely but the aim shouldn't be a huge bank balance, it should be sporting success. The league whether we like it or not has been a success and believe me I say that as someone who loathes plenty about it.
  25. I still don't think any sensible club should cave in that much on such an important thing as recruitment but I get how it happened. I think they vastly overestimated Rodgers' ability, although again, I can see why that happened. Some of it I can forgive, but the fact they waited that long to sack him kills any sympathy for me.
