Yeah we ought to be going for a couple more here. These are absolutely garbage, has felt like a cup game against a League Two team so far.

Cifuentes will be getting called in Monday morning for not "protecting the value" of our stars.

Hilarious. It really does seem no matter how terrible we are that these will serve up something even worse whenever they play us.

You do wonder. Would be absolutely typical of us though - preserve the 'value' of our ageing players (which is diminishing by its very nature) while actually putting a lid on the value of our younger players who could end up worth far more than these jokers. Would be very on brand for us actually.

I've had the nearest iteration to this possible in the last year and a bit and haven't 'adopted' another club at all - I'd just do similar to what I do now without the actual following Leicester part which is a mix of games here and abroad. I'd probably take the trips a bit more seriously.

I'm sort of seeing it with Fatawu. I think the entire thing is dragging everybody down and it stays this way under this owner. Under sensible ownership I think the first thing I'd want to happen is James was bought.

I do wonder if this technical director will be the reason we dig our heels in on Cifuentes. Just got to hope it doesn't relegate us like the same complacency did in 2022/23.

There's a major culture of delusion at the club. James would be well advised to get out of there ASAP.

Actually a pretty bad second season on the whole. Draws killed us for the most part but I can't even say that it was an unfair outcome, xg table had us exactly 6th. I'm definitely finding this one a bit trickier tactically but I guess it's always a bit different on a new game. I just know on 24 I'd have gone up this season, possibly even last. Squad isn't in a terrible state though and we did finish well so feel like we're getting there somewhat but must be the first season in absolutely ages on FM I've finished below my media prediction (4th). I still can't quite find a system I'm totally comfortable with. I'm enjoying it though and 24 had gotten too easy, so in a strange way I prefer this.

I think this is true really. It looks even more mad in some ways.

Even Maresca really - the bloke wasn't perfect but when you look at Leicester since the FA Cup win he's the only manager that's had us looking decent at any point. We are clearly a basket case of a club. He was strong enough to get people out who weren't on board and I think he clocked quite early that his bosses are total clowns. Cifuentes has made absolutely zero positive impact and he hasn't even really tried to bar some nicely researched soundbites early doors.

I get he is not the main issue at the club by any means but he is so clearly out of his depth as well and even despite this owner/board you can sometimes patch over that with a good manager. He isn't. We've been crap all season. I remember having a few arguments about this early doors saying these performances will catch up with us and they have done. Nobody ever goes up playing like crap all season. The real giveaway is how poor players like Fatawu and Mavididi have been. They're totally capable. Not a single performance from his 19 games have been entirely satisfactory. A couple of 'ok' but more bad than good. He's simply not good enough and should be sacked.
